It's different from saying May Allah bless you, because we hope for that but don't know whether or not God will do that in a particular case. Do you think a do'a is made to God or to people???? You seem to think it's an empty saying like "have a nice day". Quite the cavalier attitude. Doa is not rhetoric.

This is because patience is sought during the time of a difficult circumstance or disaster/calamity, not during normal circumstances. If you don't know what you are doing then you could be making serious mistakes. The best do'a are from the Quran and Sunna.

Finally, there were those who maintained that although masih had the force of an active participle it was derived not from masaha but from saha, a verb meaning to travel about in the cause of religion (Q 9:2; see JOURNEY) and hence to be devout (Q 9:112; 665; see also FASTING). They alleged that Jesus received this nickname because of his itinerant life-style (see further Arnaldez, Jésus på de Marie, 84-7).

God has no sons. The meaning of the term “Son of God” in the Old and New Testament.
In the Bible, the term “Son of God” means a righteous servant of God. It does not mean literally divine son of God. The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical.
In previous Scriptures, pious believers were called “sons of God.” It was not only Jesus who was “son of God” in the bible; other Prophets were also called “son of God.” For example:

Solomon: 2 Samuel 7:13-14. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Adam: Luke 3:38. Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

We have to choose to submit to God for the process of learning in order to grow spiritually. allow me to elucidate the subject of Christianity, particularly with respect to the nature of Jesus as the Son of God and His relationship with His heavenly Father. In order to understand Jesus as God on earth praying to His Father in heaven, we must first acknowledge the
eternal relationship that existed between the Father and the Son before Jesus took on human form. Jesus Himself affirmed this when He declared, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30), indicating that He and His Father are of the same substance and essence. Therefore, the Father, Son, and Spirit are three co-equal persons existing as one God, having an eternal relationship.
When Jesus, the eternal Son of God, took on sinless humanity, He also took on the form of a servant, surrendering His heavenly glory as depicted in Philippians 2:5-11. As the God-man, He had to learn obedience to His Father as He was tempted by Satan, falsely accused by men, rejected by His people, and eventually crucified. Christ's example of prayer is one that we should follow, for even in sinless humanity, a vital prayer life is necessary to do the Father's will.

Some people struggle with the idea of the Trinity because it is unlike anything in creation. They find it difficult to understand how one being can be more than one person. However, we must remember that God is beyond our comprehension and is unlike anything in creation. It should not surprise us that His mode of existence is entirely unique and beyond our understanding.
Although we may not fully comprehend the Trinity, this does not mean that it is not true. We must remember that there are things within creation, even among scientists, that we can observe but cannot fully understand. This does not negate their reality.
When we say that God is one, we need to define what we mean by "one." For example, we can speak of "one family," but a family consists of more than one person. We can speak of "one nation," but a nation consists of millions of people. So, when we say "one," we must clarify what we mean. Do we mean one numerically so that two comes after one? Do we mean one in His essence?, in His being? This ambiguity itself does not tell us what it means for God to be one.
In our experience, every being is a single person, but this is not entirely true. Siamese twins, for example, are two people attached to one body, but we see that as a deformity because we know it is not normal for human beings to be more than one person. However, this is not the case with God, as He transcends our existence and is not limited to a single person. We are bound to a world that is finite, limited, and temporal, and we can only assess things based on our experience.
In conclusion, we must recognize that God is beyond our comprehension, and His mode of existence transcends our ability to fully understand. The Trinity is unlike anything in creation, and we must rely on revelation to bridge the gap.
