Katie Sackoff voiced Bo in the animated series and then got to be in the live action Mandalorian. So exciting to have you see why the other series were so important. It will give you a much deeper appreciation for the Mando series going forward.
Funny, I watched all three seasons of The Mandalorian without watching the animated series, and I managed to appreciate it just fine. 😏
There's a 1/144 model of the (Bad Batch?) shuttle that looks nice. Probably the closest I'll get to the original AMT 1/72 Tyderium Shuttle, now.
So awesome we have Bo live action and Katie just rocks it.

Do you think that people who start watching Mando in season two and skip season one have the same connection to Mando & the child as people who watched season one?

Finally Mandalorian time. Seeing Katee Sackhoff return as Bo Katan was a joy to watch.
Bo Katan really impressed me in this series I was so happy when she turned up, but all my friends who haven't seen the animated series were like >:( that's a mean lady. I mean yeah 😂 that's part of her charm.
I have never seen the animated series and I thought Bo Katan was a boss right from the beginning. Your friends are just lame.
The best reveal of this season was the reveal of Bo-Katan! The fact that Katee Sackhoff who voiced Bo-Katan in Clone Wars and Rebels now plays the live action character is just the best thing about the Mando series .... In my opinion :)

Bo is the big surprise of course, but the empire ship they’re on is also seen a lot in rebels that is getting a live action debut here
This is such a good episodes. One of the best in the whole show in my opinion.

Ahsoka Tano- the name drop that broke the internet following Egg-Gate.
The episode where watching the animated series truly pays off. Season 2 is full of excellent chapters however, I truly love this one. The introduction and mention of fan favorite characters, the musical score of Ludwig Göransson and directing by Bryce Dallas Howard are phenomenal. I feel this episode needs so much more love than it currently has.
How have you avoided spoilers for so long! Aaaaa your reaction seeing Bo-Katan was priceless.

When Bo Katan revealed herself on the ship with Katee Sackhoff 's "Don't worry brother..." line, it would have been enough, but the chef's kiss of mentioning Ahsoka at the end... Awesome. Your reaction was my reaction to both for sure. :D
It's still so crazy to me that the Katee Sackhoff looks so much like Bo-Katan in the cartoons. Although tbf I guess maybe they just modeled her character on the cartoon off the actor's likeness just for shits and giggles... or maybe Dave Filoni was always hoping to bring her character to the big screen. Either way, very cool
This is when the season really begins to pick up.
1 is a very nice intro, 2 is kinda a goofy detour, onwards is the best season of mando

Seen Bo Katan when this episode came out was mind blowing to me and then they mention Ahsoka?! I was so damn happy. Can't wait for the next reaction (but I'm not gonna lie, I'm more excited about episode 5, haha).

Now you understand why clone wars and rebels were absolutely necessary. Many people are robbed of the complete experience these episodes bring because they are more enticed by live action than animated projects
It's always an endeavor to convince friends / family to watch, but once they get a season or two into CW they get the hook lol

Indeed our Mandalorian Din Djarin has the best armor - probably out of all remaining Mandalorians. Because Beskar started running dry so most other armors started getting mixed metals. Din has pure Beskar armor, which is why he is essentially a moving man sized tank inside it, making him the shield of any group because he can just run in and draw fire to himself.
(Probably getting plenty of bruises though as the Beskar only absorbs and disperses the hits, but why he flinches and almost ragdolls around when all that concentrated force hits him)

Actually you've already seen the darksaber in live action in season 1 finale, but probably you didn't knew it was it because you didn't watch CW and Rebels yet (I guess). Moff Gideon used it to get out of his TIE fighter at the end of the final episode, so we know he owns it now.

Such an awesome episode. It sets up so many things to come. Bo, Ahsoka and the Dark Sabre. This is the Way. You would think that Baby Yoda (I can’t wait until you find out his name) would start growing from the size of his appetite, it’s a good thing we don’t have to watch Mando change his diaper, that would be gross.
