I've thought of that too, but then when life gets normal and people are about their routines (working different hours, going to bed before your spouse, etc.) you really could sleep throughout the night without realizing if your spouse came in bed or not.

The father in law is creepy. Who makes a comment saying maybe she was put in a container with her jeep and buried or shipped off some place? Seriously who laughs when your daughter in law disappears and has been gone for that long, not knowing what happened to her. A lot of liars laugh like that when questioned because it is a nervous reaction to what they are feeling. The husband never lifting a finger to even look for her, really? Come on. I can only imagine losing someone this way and never seeing them again. The oldest daughter I feel especially bad for because she had been gone to Florida for a month without seeing her Mom, then gets back to find she is gone and has not seen her since, sad. I just hope this is solved someday.

So that could have explained the laughter. However that being said as a parent the last thing I would be doing is laughing about any of this. *If this all took place in the Catskills, the Russian Mafia may actually be a real theory. Every major business in the Catskills had a "Silent Partner" when I lived there (1970s).*

I'm in my mid 30s from the catskills in a town called Saugerties...and every winter we would go for a ride to look at Christmas lights on the "mafia houses", only in my adult life was I told some 'stories' about the very houses we called that and why....its crazy!

This is so frustrating and heartbreaking! It doesn’t seem possible that she could just go missing. Did her husband always go to sleep before she got home from work? If she got off work at 11 and he didn’t notice that she was missing until 6:30, I would just be interested to know if it was normal for them to not see each other at night. That’s over seven hours that anything could have been happening. My heart aches for her mother and her children. I pray they find answers soon. 😢

WifeMomTeacherLife - Seems fishy to me. My husband and I have been married almost 10 years and I know he would have known I didn't make it home well before the morning. It wouldn't have taken 6-7 hours plus he probably would have been on the phone with me at some point after work. Most guys I've known usually are in "protective mode" if their s/o works nights by either picking them up or calling them.

I'm always in bed asleep when my husband gets home from work. I don't wait up, I have to work in the morning. I also don't wake up when he goes to bed 🤷

Angela I’m sure that many couples do that. I’m just curious about their routine. My husband and I are fortunate to have similar work hours, so for the last 17 years we have gone to bed together most nights. I would like to think that he would notice immediately if I wasn’t in bed, but he sleeps like a rock and he might not notice until morning. I don’t sleep for more than an hour and a half at a time, so I would notice his absence pretty quickly. Whatever happened to her it’s sad and I wish they could solve it for her family.

The grandfather laughing is creepy as hell. He just described how the car and possible body was disposed of. If they are rich then they're most likely connected to people who can do something like this.

If the whole car is missing too, there are cases like this where they eventually find the person in the car in a lake or even in the woods. I remember a case a few yrs ago when they found a missing person still in a vehicle that went off the road then down a slope into thick woods. The car crash victim had been there a whole year without anyone finding the body.

Yes I agree with you...... she could have tried to avoid a deer and went off the road ....or in some type of body of water....

@@christinamenhennett it's wild to see how ignorant these comments are about the husband and father in law murdering her... There's ZERO evidence to that, except people's "feelings"
This really could have been a accident and it just hasn't been found yet.

It's actually a Nursing Home. They kept saying Medical Center which in that area would be Albany Medical Center and I worked there from 1990 on. So, I googled her name and said it was a Nursing Home.
AMC has thousands of pedestrians in and out each day Level 1 trauma center. But a Nursing Home would have few people at 11 pm.
