so basically build meter by running (R1) and dribbling/parry (R2) scape an attacck and build meter, get close to the opponents area and charge to score, dude i had no idea dribbling helped a lot, this changes everything, thank you!
Picked this title up in the Winter Sale, never seen/read anything from this franchise but the style really reminded me of the cartoon "Hurricanes". Loving the over the top, "special move" style action.

My best run was with Toho route as MF which went fluid for me and gave me less rage moments. Just gave it to Hyuga and watched the destruction and also got easy goals for myself after he'd battered the goalies and also some Twin Drive Shot goals too. So, so fun.
Can you made a tutorial explaning each formation team , when to use it and how to activate?

About the dribling and defending, please go to the practice mode as it is very easy to learn but it is incredible difficult to master as if you dribble with R1 and your opponent is using R1 as well defender wins, if you run using R1 and then press R2 the defender does only R2 or the same as you R1+R2 defender wins, you have to be always aware how the defender is moving.
I feel like a lot of people didn't learn the basics. I did a practice match for about 1 hour just messing around so I could get passing, combos, dribbles, and so on more down. Doing this helps big time in the game.
Yeah, the video makes it look very "use R1 and then R2 and you'll dribble everything." Only times I managed to get past a "same key/button" dribble was with Tsubasa or Schneider against some weak players in a practice match, and it's a one out of ten chance at best.
I watched a review where they said all you do is tackle. Now that i know you can dribble i kindof wanna get this now.

The v zone gauge tip is really important in competitive matches, but the tackling one isn't. When you play with other people they expect you to do that and they counter it.
A tip I use is to stop holding R1/RB before my opponent comes. While sprinting does help you get down the field faster, it’s hard to guard against tackles when I’m already holding the sprint button down.
Start off with not sprinting at all and just focus on doing the correct dribble. Try it and see if it improves your button reaction 👌🏽
Hey. Are you planning on making a Guide for the DAD's in Episode Tsubasa? Some of them have really weird Requirements.
And also do you Know how to get scouted for the Trophies? Already done Episode New Hero with all 3 Schools and all 3 different Final Matches but nothing.
Look, is a little bit difficult, you need to upgrade the friendship till you get to S in sneider's card, and that's how you get scouted by Germany, to get scouted by Brazil do the same thing but with Alberto and Carlos, to be scouted by EEUU the same as the others with Ryan Ortiz and if you want to be scouted by Roberto do the same thing with Tsubasa. There are some tricks here because you need to have their card at maximum level (level 6)i recommend to use a training item that is a golden ball, that item make all your cards reach level 6 just in one match, for example if you are doing the EEUU route make sure to use the golden ball as a training item when you are about to play the final against them and also have the Ryan Ortiz card at level S, if there is something you don't understand I am willing to help, also I want to apologize if I explained myself a little bit strange because I'm not a native speaker
I forgot to mention that when you are going against a team where you want to be scouted (if you have the cards at level S and 6) a special mission will come out, you need to accept it and completed, thats how you will get most probably a supershor and get scouted
Can someone answer this. If they sprint I can dodge with tackle while dribbling?! I see the cloud behind them but when I press it nothing happends.

It's still way too hard to score in this game, I finished the Toho road, but still, without Hyuga's neo tiger shot your chances to defeat teams like Germany is close to zero, the goalkeeper catches everything.
Best advice I can give is to learn how to cross pass near the goal. It’s a good way to get shots that fly right past the goalie. Also a great way to get a better passing grade.
(Also there’s a skill that’ll increase the shot power of whoever you pass it to by a great deal, so it will make your crosses more effective on the goalie 👌🏽)
Against Germany, use the Combo Overlap, have Tsubasa, Hyuga, Misaki and Sawada as the four players assigned to it. You can then run up with someone else (Jito's charging tackle is very effective here because of "Giant Killer") then send a long pass when you see the four are near Muller's area. You can either get a Neo Drive Tiger shot, an All-Japan's Twin shot, or Sawada and Hyuga's twin overhead kick (which is as awesome as it was in the old anime.)
I just wish they had included the V-1 Twin Shot, seen in the manga (don't remember it in the anime, been a decade since I last saw it,) with Misaki and Tsubasa shooting a twin shot as a pass to Hyuga, who then kicked it as a Tiger Shot. Brazil's goalie was too scared/confuses/awed/all of those to move.
Or, heck, try for some new shots. Past Captain Tsubasa games did that at times.
I really want to beat the first level but all they do is constantly tackle all the time and the regen on it is insane
I really want to Platinum this game, but I have problems with getting scouted (I need to know which build I should have, like which stats to distribute the points to) and points for the level 6 card trophy. Any tips?
if you're looking to get scouted just focus on the specific cards that will get you scouted. USA get Ryan Ortiz to S/Germany Schnnider to S/ Brazil Carlos to S and Alberto S/ Scouted by Roberto get S with tsubasa.
If you guys want pp and your low if you haven't did this your gonna get alot of pp go to colection and collect all the pp and treasure box if you haven't collect it collect it now you will get alot of pp

I learnt all of these myself, but I have a laugh whenever I hear someone talking about certain story matches being difficult. Once you know how to score with normal shots, even the "one man team" of Nankatsu can become all-stars.
Heck, in the New Hero story, I managed to get close to a tie with Germany in the scrimmage match. 6-4 because I used Tsubasa to build V-zone, then let Hyuga get the rebound. The first Germany GK is quite weak.
And Italy was... Sad, almost.

@@danielemberton2809 The tutorial tells you exactly how to do those things, and it comes built-in into Tsubasa's story mode. It's not a matter of being better, really, just paying attention.

Have you tried america route and facing them in the final? The difficulties are on another level than another routes

Problem with developers assuming everyone uses a controller, these days. I mean, this game's an exception to that, but still doesn't stop LPers from doing the same.
To actually answer the question, unlike all the "funny" comments before me... Well, I'm not using the default keyboard mapping because they are all over the place. Anyhow...
First off, one of the tutotrials during Episode: Tsubasa (before playing against the Tachibana twins' team, I think?) will tell you what those two keys are for you. And getting there without knowing them is possible, as it's how I learnt how to dribble more effectively...
A few things on dribbling:
The dribbles are not a hundred percent effective (this video makes it look like it by using mostly Tsubasa against relative weaklings,) and sometimes a type of dribble has more chances to get through. Like, some players have special tackles you can only effectively body slam through, others you can only use feints against effectively. The video doesn't show this. Also, some V-Zones make either dribbling or tackling stronger, which also affects the chances...
In short, it's not just "Press this then this to dodge every player ever." A lot of other things are involved there. I managed to stop Tsubasa almost every time I marked him with my CC because I had gotten the "Giant Killer" skill off Jiro, which made the difference between Tsubasa's dribbling and my tackling next to zero.

Worst game ever known to mankind. It's rugby not football, scoring a goal is a urban legend, playability non existent and on top of that full of bugs. The studio that made it should never do any game never again.
