I fod,, Yes this is the nature of this style of paper bag mini album. The paper bags are just sewed down the middle and folded over. I use all flat embellishments to eliminate some of that but it is impossible to have it lay flat. Sometimes I put ribbon as a closure to hold it together. Thanks so much for watching!

You may want to adjust your measurement for the binding. Once you add pictures or embellishments it will not look very nice popping open. Either than that very cute, love the papers and the colors.

Very cute! Just curious, I've purchased blank paper bag minis which have the bottom flap on them. In your book are you using those or covering them up? I'm confused as to what to do with them, can't have every page with a pocket on it, lol... TFS ~ leslie

Hi Leslie,
I think the bottom flap makes too small of a pocket, so I just cover over them and make my own pocket. I like the deeper pockets. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
