Really pretty! I like your idea of using this booklet as a fabric sample book. It would be fun to do one in French fabric with French antique letters. One Italian type book this size with Italian fabric samples, and, one in Old English, or any nationality any of us have old papers and fabric. Fun fun!!!
My husband swears by cool towels when he is outside - in Florida- flying his model airplanes....and not expensive. Delightful journal, Rachel. Hugs, Carol xo
Such an interesting size and style. I was snuggled in bed this morning watching and I dozed off again halfway through. You have a very mellow voice.😊The video ended and an ad with loud music came on. I snapped awake and tried to answer my phone.😑 So this evening I had another watch through. No nap.😆

I sympathize with you about the heat! I am exactly the same way! I can’t breathe in it! It’s going to be 99 F here on Saturday! But luckily we have ac. I really feel for you! LOVE LOVE this notebook!
Love how this turned out. I’m super inspired to get in with mine now 😊🌸💕. Hope the heat wave passes sooner than later. It’s chilly here in Hawke’s Bay NZ. 😊
Yes Im not looking forward to another hot silcilian summer , And I miss canadian summers ,but not the umid summer in Toronto . I love watching you create and listening to your storys . We own A tile bathroom store and yes everything is so hard to orders ,so everything is backed up . Hope you get to move soon .
Started watching this nine hours ago... just got lost in the day, but finally made it back and so glad I did... love this, I want one... lol... will finish off the one I started with you yesterday... Cheers for Sharing Lovely... always a pleasure to watch you create. x
This journal is just fabulous. Of course I had to go buy this one & the one similar. There you go enabling again 😂I’m sure Sharon is happy, that’s what it’s all about, helping one another I’m so glad to hear your wallpaper is up. It is a worldwide problem getting things. My honey owns an automotive business & has $100,000 worth of work to do but can’t get the parts needed.
Oooohhhh, HOT! I live in Arizona where it is frequently 115* in the summer, but we have very little humidity and AIR CONDITIONING! We go from air conditioned house to air conditioned car to air conditioned store….. I feel for you! Not sure I could do it without being extra grouchy! This book is wonderful, I went right over and bought Sharon’s kits.
Really beautiful Rachel. Such a perfect balance between the pages and the extra pretty ephemera you added. I haven’t used this digital much, but you’ve inspired me to make one of these little journals! Thanks so much! 🤗🌷🌷🌷
Girlfriend if you ever come to the US and visit Florida come in the winter time because June-November it ranges from 90 - 100 with high humidity. It’s so funny listening to you about the heat. And just so you know the noise in the back ground you don’t really hear it as loud as it is for you. It’s not a bother at all. Keep crafting 🌴.
Love ❤ love ❤ love this! It's just the perfect balance of eclectic and pretty. Thanks Rachel for sharing with us. Try to stay cool. A tip shared with me by a nurse is to fill a large plastic bag with ice cubes, wrap it in a towel and set it on the floor then put your feet, bare or with socks on top. Keeping your feet cool will help to regulate your system. The neck Also works but the feet are much easier to do and be active.
Where I am in Ontario Canada it’s also been 39-40 degrees the last couple of days and supposed to be the rest of the week…only thing is with all this humidity we get awful storms😬….🥰❤️🥰
BEST journal EVER!! I can see many of these in my near future!! Thank you so much for sharing all of your information on GF premium membership for 3 years love them and Sharon’s digitals are fantastic already got 3 and 2 waiting 🥰
We don’t have AC either. I hang laundry to dry from doorway trim (on hangers). Hanging wet items (like sheets hung over a curtain rod) can cool things down by several degrees, I’ve heard as much as 10 degrees.
You are amazing and I loved it so, I bought the digis too, so exciting, I am making one too but I am using envelope as inserts pages., recycling several things! So inspired! Love yah an thank you!!!
What a great project using Sharon’s beautiful materials. I love the splashes of red throughout. The heat index was 102 degrees here in Chicago today. So thankful for air conditioning. Without it I would be just like you! Try to stay cool!
This journal is SO cool! Rachel, you must spend a small fortune on printer ink! Love that pink paper from the Graphics Fairy! Just lovely....as always!!
I don't spend a fortune as I joined the HP instaink program, you can even pay $10 a month if you like depending on how much you print. It works our much cheaper than buying the inks. For the whole year it's like I bought 2 packets of the 4 ink cartridges. Thanks so much! 😊
I haven't tried the document stitching yet, but I love the way it looks, particularly on a tall, slim notebook like this. Beautiful result, and inspirational - I will be giving it a try soon. Thanks, Rachel!
This is another favorite! (How many favorites are we allowed? Lol) Thank you so much for sharing with us, though I am not sure how you manage in such heat. We have been above 95F for over two weeks with high humidity. Thankfully we have air conditioning everywhere! Try and stay cool!!!❤️
Love the notebook, very much your style. Want to shout out a thank you for the Christmas bundle fabric that I ordered from your Etsy. It came in very quickly and it is just wonderful. Can't wait for the new slow stitching projects to begin.
This journal turned out really nice! I just love how you put stuff together, and you do it so effortlessly. A real talent! I too hate being hot, and with humidity it seems to feel worse. I like wetting wash cloths and freezing them for my neck….anything to feel better for a bit. Lol Take care and looking forward to your next video as always!
oh rachel i had such a good laugh about your workman doing the non-stop bashing comment. i too would be tired after just a few bashes! what the heck are they bashing in that odd way i wonder. i was just wondering that when you made your funny comment and it was like you were answering me. i appreciate you making us laugh. thanks so much!! i was lucky enough to get your christmas bundle and look forward to doing your next stitchery project though i have not finished my journal of stitchery yet. had a cringy moment knowing that my purchase would send you to the dreaded post office but i ordered anyway because i really want to do this project with everyone. take good care, linda from california
Beautiful. Love how you coordinated the journal size pieces throughout. My way of doing things. Love your layered journal cards but mine never look "right" so usually use these kinds of cards with a little added, like you did.
Such a lovely journal. Such fun. Eclectic is a great way to go and it just works do well on this. We need to do some temperature exchange. We had a -1 degree frost this morning and I just can't warm up today.
I love this journal so much I purchased some of the kits. Maybe you said and I missed it but what paper do you print on? It looks very old and authentic I love it❤️
Absolutely beautiful, Rachel. I love all of the elements and the handwriting on the paper is exquisite 🌷

Hi Rachel
I seem to have missed something along the way, what is the sticky / shiney washi type tape that you are using
I used a transparent adhesive label that I printed on.
💞
Have you ever heard of the cool towels. You dip them in water, ring them out and drape them around your neck. They are supposed to work well.
Good Morning
