This game was a big part of my childhood. I grew up playing this and the how things work game as well as watching the learning videos, mother goose and the cartoon. Busytown was and still is very special to me😁❤️❤️
I randomly thought of the firehouse song and spent the entire morning trying to remember what this game was called. I am so ridiculously happy I found this video
I would say those customers are on a conveyor belt, given that the customer sprites don't have any movement, but still, sliding, I never quite thought of it that way when I played this game.
Yeah, I see he's done a lot of video game voicework, but here he's not that great, partly due to the limitations of the time (like all the deli and gas station customers having the same voice). At least the "How Things Work in Busytown" sequel also got a woman to provide the female voices, while Derek Sorrentino still voiced the males, this time with a bit more effort than here.
Can you get more PC games, including How things work in Busytown, After the beanstalk, The lion king animated storybook and Winnie the Pooh and the honey tree animated storybook?
@wileyk209zback I had that case when I had the game. At least I think I did. Though I think I forgot because that game was like OLD! Hey, did you read my comment about how I was sure you could rip off the music from the 1993 version? You said it was difficult, but I know you can do it. Hard doesn't always mean impossible!
In the sega genesis version, the customers say "looks great Huckle" in that high nasally voice then "thank you" in deeper voice like Bruno lol

I grew up with the 1999 version of this game. Thanks for uploading videos of this release!
The sound I made upon finding this video was not human
Bruno left so he could go home and play POLE POSITION!

Serenity Frost was surprised that the deli customers are pretty polite about mistakes in her Let's Play of this game.
omg I remember this game. I love this game. I play it all the time, when I was 9/10 years old :D
All that lemonade in this game made me wanna have some lemonade, in fact, it made me drink so much lemonade, I ended up puking!
Tell AVGN to do a review of the Sega version.
I used to have that game, I still have another Paramount Interactive game from 1993, Lenny's Music Toons. Have you ever played that?
I remember that game at my aunts house!
I like this version better than the new version.
How come in the song they make him Jamaican but that's not the case in any other circumstance?
Because the song is done in a reggae style.
On the Sega Genesis port, the mouse who says "Anchors aweigh, captain!" does so in a German accent, pronouncing it thus as "Anchors aveigh, captain!"
I think the Captain Salty voice you did :D
Yea Mel Blanc FTW!
the funnel on the ship sounds even funnier when you hold the spacebar down.
Isn't the cute pig in the window Mr. Frumble?
But cottage cheese wasn't in the Sega version.
The game's characters were voiced by Derek Sorrentino.

I have the Sega Genesis version
omg the nostalgia
usually Bruno comes back after you click exit
Dan,what do you know Salty's voice sounds like Popeye's?
Asael Polanco Come to think of it he also sounds like Jimmy from South Park
And there's the hidden (oh no] noedolekciN logos in the game since it didn't show any blood or gore on this.
I remember this game
Did you know that the foods in this version are the same as the Sega and 1999 versions?
WHERE CAN I GET THIS GAME???

My friend has the Mac version.
How did you find this game? I used to play this version when I was a kid!
Nothin' in this version is crappy for me! I love crap!
