Like this Lewis Maltby guy said, this is a terrible solution, and just speaking with your employees and training them to distance themselves and take all of these security measures would work just fine. Companies and employers tend to move towards a more "private-less" work environment, and that is NOT okay.

If this is being used to measure how long people are wearing masks then that’s also useless, it’s not likely for someone to turn up to work with a mask and then take it off during shift.

Yes, this technology is wrong and intrude on privacy. But.. I view it in another aspect as well, if people wore masks and used social distancing, this kind of tech wouldn't even be concidered. I still don't think that this is a good idea, and shouldn't be used, but maybe people start to think about it and put a mask on and keep a distance to others
