man, I remember when I first heard about this footage, waaay back July of 07 and you couldnt find it anywhere, there were just descriptions on superhero hype, and I would have seriously given my right testicle to see it then. Luckily a year later and all the anticipation piad off-best film of the last 5 years at least...probably more. absolute masterpiece.
Batman jumping on top of the police cars is a badass scene that shouldn´t have been cut off from the movie, its so Noir.. what was Nolan thinking by cutting that?
Quite a few deleted shots/scenes .. batman punching joker in a different angle , batman jumping over cars , and the batsuit chamber rising that was more than likely used for the dark knight rises movie
Kinda glad I didn't see any of that footage before I saw the entire film. If I were a fan at Wizard World, I would feel like I saw too much. But anyhow, that was a year ago. Here's to a third film in this franchise!! And The Dark Knight is not the most overrated film of all time....it's one of the best films of all time. Don't be mad at that.
Yeah I noticed that. The actual shot is in the prologue for The Dark Knight. That's the shot he used. This shot is an alternate and is stuck in one place.
I wish DC or WB could have released this trailer in HD. That clip of Batman running over the cop cars is beautiful. I know it was cut for editing purposes.
@jakmrnd oddly enough though, Chris Nolan DID reuse that shot of the batsuit rising from the ground in DKR when Bruce goes to suit up before taking on Bane for one last time.
I wasn't a Batman fan (blame a certain film for that) until I saw Begins, and I was vastly impressed. To this day I love that movie, but The Dark Knight is better. Much better acting, better editing, better themes etc. I wasn't even looking forward to The Dark Knight all that much, just felt that Heath Ledger's death would distract me as I watch the film, but it didn't. Begins is brilliant but The Dark Knight is even better.
@VideoWatcher3012 I find that hard to believe as at the end Gordon said Dent killed five people yet we only see him kill 2, 3 if you count Maroni (if he died, which is likely), 2 of them cops (we only see one cop killed).
Ah, you are right. I thought the background was of the blown up warehouse, but it's actually the MCU. I wonder if anything from the interrogation scene was left out. Like more of Batman beating up the Joker that would've been too violent to make the final cut.
It's actually not from the end, but takes place right after the interrogation scene before he mounts his batpod. If you look closely, you'll see it's the police station in the background.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that scene was when he was gonig towards his batpod to save rachel right after the Joker interogation. Don't know why it was cut though, because it seemed pretty sweet.
That's too high of a prediction. That would surpass the first Spiderman's opening weekend. Best guess range would be about 90-120 million, and I'd wager it'll be closer to the higher end of that range.
not scenes missing, they just change dit a ltitle, and in traielrs they often show alternate scene shots they didn't use for the final cut, or different angles and so forth.
ahh yeah I mean the stuff that has been leaked onto youtube, I think most of the soundtrack has by now but I haven't checked in a few days. "Why So Serious" sounds great though.
U re absol. right...He was an amazing actor and a great guy, a non-divo, that's especially why I liked him so much..in my opinion he was misunderstood by the Holliwood ambience...Heath Ledger R.I.P, bro...
this doesnt even count as a trailer, it was a special feature for those who went to wizard world last year, which i was at and it was awesome! 2 weeks cant wait!
i hate the fact that they release so much goodies two weeks away from the release. they want to torture us! i can't sleep now because i know it'll be almost two weeks before i see this damn thing!!
I'm glad that they added more of Harvey Dent in this because he really is an important character in the movie. Most people put the attention on the Joker, and don't get me wrong, he was amazing. But he wasn't the only important character. I'm just glad they showed more of him!
Fantastic movie. Heath was a brilliant performer and i think he pulled the Joker off perfectly. If you have not seen the movie yet, then you WILL enjoy it.
@dumbestname Nope, neither was the shot of Wayne and Dent touching glasses, the shot of the tumbler speeding outta the cave was cut out, as was the suit rising outta the floor, theres also many alt takes in this too
I don't want him to be dead... Eckhart was amazing as dent and Two-Face. PLus his "bad" half was downright scary looking... burnt right off. Still gives me nightmares, the first time he turned his head and showed his scarred side.. ugh.
Correction, Director Joel Schumacher and the People that tried to explain the Batman series needs to be more "comic booky and Family oriented" are the ones who messed the Batman series after "Batman Returns" With the help of the beautiful direction of Chris Nolan and the experience Jim Carrey he had in previous films. Jim Carrey might come back to the newly restore franchise.
Yay, the Good Ol' "Two-Face Coin" is back! I bought my tickets yesterday, and im so excited... Can you say, "most epic film till the next Batman Movie"?
man, I remember when I first heard about this footage, waaay back July of 07 and you couldnt find it anywhere, there were just descriptions on superhero hype, and I would have seriously given my right testicle to see it then. When Batman slams joker onto the glass, the glass doesn't break unlike in the movie
It did indeed.
This is easily the best trailer for Dark Knight. Hardly any spoken dialogue, very much full of the atmosphere of the movie and brilliantly edited.
Me too, the description of Gordon lighting a road flare for Batman and then him walking through the smoke to meet Gordon sounds sooo badass!
This trailer give me goosebumps
"Dent, I thought you were dead."
"Half"
So rare trailer never seen it before in a long time.
I remember seeing this Harvey Dent/ Two-Face tease...so excited at the time! Can't wait for a trailer/footage of TDKR!
I love it when Bruce disarms that one guy, takes apart the gun, and then casually just keeps walking like nothing ever happened.
man, i wish i was important lol all we got for ages was the bloody descriptive text of this footage haha
Yeah I noticed that. The actual shot is in the prologue for The Dark Knight. That's the shot he used. This shot is an alternate and is stuck in one place.
@nikebball Nolan was asked about by fans. He answered: This is a story for another time. So obviously with TDKR we will get the answer.
God, I'm just dying to see the footage of TDKR that was shown at CinemaCon yesterday. Wish there was a bootleg somewhere! :D
I wish DC or WB could have released this trailer in HD. That clip of Batman running over the cop cars is beautiful. I know it was cut for editing purposes.
Gonna be the best and most talked about more this year!!!
@jakmrnd oddly enough though, Chris Nolan DID reuse that shot of the batsuit rising from the ground in DKR when Bruce goes to suit up before taking on Bane for one last time.
Tumblee and batpod scene is too cool
The song is playing reminds me of Ben 10 ultimate alien
this feels more creepy with the music and no talking.... this is gonna blow us away
i remember watching this trailer thinking they were going to screw it with the joker. At 1:28 all my fears dissapeared.
Never again in my lifetime will i see a trailer bit that will excite me as much as 1:50 did when i first saw it three years ago
3 years later, i am here to tell u that the Dark Knight Rises will be better than The Dark Knight. Nothing personal.
Boi were you wrong :///
Whoa! This is awesome! And it's a year old!? Awesome upload, KassaNovaKaine! =D
I wasn't a Batman fan (blame a certain film for that) until I saw Begins, and I was vastly impressed. To this day I love that movie, but The Dark Knight is better. 1:14 - Amazing alternate take of the Joker during the Lower Wacker car chase.
I'm beginning to think that they were just on set and Nolan was like, "We need random footage for the trailer, Batman jump over police cars!"
I really love how Gordon is running at 1:22 to open the door before Batman locks it with the chair to beat the Joker to death.
the very last clip shows two-face deformed in the corned.
"dent, i thought yose was dead."
"half,"
@VideoWatcher3012 I find that hard to believe as at the end Gordon said Dent killed five people yet we only see him kill 2, 3 if you count Maroni (if he died, which is likely), 2 of them cops (we only see one cop killed).

There were still plenty of surprises that never were revealed in the trailers.
I think it's funny how they confuse you with so many different takes of the dialog and you don't know which are going to be in the movie.
They do that a lot in the movies. They use the parts that hit the cutting room floor in the trailers
i can't wait for a third movie and its rumored that pre production offices will open in february 2009.
it's right when he leaves the interrogation room and goes down to his batpod, it's just like 2 seconds of footage
Yeah I'm pretty sure that scene was when he was gonig towards his batpod to save rachel right after the Joker interogation. Don't know why it was cut though, because it seemed pretty sweet.
Interesting. I remember how I was itching to see this a year ago but now I've seen the whole movie! LOL
That's too high of a prediction. That would surpass the first Spiderman's opening weekend. Best guess range would be about 90-120 million, and I'd wager it'll be closer to the higher end of that range.

Even though things look bleak, he might not be dead...
Cinematography's brilliant.
could be the joker calling to talk. they'd have to cut it out to answer. this would make the joker really sick. i love it
"Dent...Jesus, I thought you was dead."
"Half."
this doesnt even count as a trailer, it was a special feature for those who went to wizard world last year, which i was at and it was awesome! 2 weeks cant wait!
Yeah true, perhaps I remember it incorrectly. I'll be seeing it again this monday, I'll be looking for it.
this will be the movie of our lifetimes.
i hate the fact that they release so much goodies two weeks away from the release. they want to torture us! i can't sleep now because i know it'll be almost two weeks before i see this damn thing!!

I`m not entirely sure Harvey would listen in the state of mind He was in.
Dent..Jesus, I thought you was dead..
HALF.
Holy fuck this is gonna be so awesome.
still gives me goosebumps after seeing it 8 times what a fucking movie i feel so bad for ledger not been able 2 see is masterpiece
Apparently the game was cancelled due to the game not being ready by the deadline, but over the Christmas holidays EA re-announced the game.
Fantastic movie. Heath was a brilliant performer and i think he pulled the Joker off perfectly. If you have not seen the movie yet, then you WILL enjoy it.
That scene was cut out. It was part of the end of the movie when Batman was running from the police.
@dumbestname Nope, neither was the shot of Wayne and Dent touching glasses, the shot of the tumbler speeding outta the cave was cut out, as was the suit rising outta the floor, theres also many alt takes in this too
HEATH IS AMAZING but two-face joining in this early will be brilliant. I am having goosebumps and am so hyped for it to come out!!!!
can't wait for this to come out
Man, I really wish I could see the scene where Batman is jumping over those police cars...
This will be the slowest 2 weeks ever. And the part where Batman is beating Joker in the interrogation room creeped me out.. don't know why.
so this is what the batgeeks saw all those months ago. sweet. hey they added some cg in the final edit when bats smashed jkr into the window :(
His name is Harvey Dent...aka Two-Face, played by Aaron Eckhart.
The track is Myotis from the Begins soundtrack.
1:06 to 1:11 have this weird but cool feel to the video...and then the joker with batman during the interogation (i know its mispelled) ....awesome!
I don't want him to be dead... Eckhart was amazing as dent and Two-Face. PLus his "bad" half was downright scary looking... burnt right off. Still gives me nightmares, the first time he turned his head and showed his scarred side.. ugh.
"Myotis", the 3rd track from the Batman Begins score.
Rachel Dawes, the Maggie Gyllenhal character, dies in this movie in a warehouse explosion that sets Harvey Dent down a dark path.
Begins is epic, The Dark Knight is epic, the end
i know and also the batmobile leaving the bat lab couldve been awesome too but we got the ap
it's after he'd interrogated the joker and goes to find Rachel and Harvey, so that's outside the police station
i guess joker got he got battered by batman when he said "starting tonight, ppl will die. I'm a man of my words (laffs)" then batman beats him up
i think he was screaming... you know, in pain.
Correction, Director Joel Schumacher and the People that tried to explain the Batman series needs to be more "comic booky and Family oriented" are the ones who messed the Batman series after "Batman Returns"
With the help of the beautiful direction of Chris Nolan and the experience Jim Carrey he had in previous films. Jim Carrey might come back to the newly restore franchise.
They just get better and better !!!
i really really really wish i saw Begins in the Cinema, i went to see The Dark Knight at the cinema like 6 times lol, amazing experience
This movie is just TOO awesome. Loved it.
It was supposed to be during the last montage of the movie... When Batman runs away.
i agree. best trailer yet. i want to see this film NOW!!!!
YES, jeeze I literally convulsed. That was just so unexpected.
Two-face doesn't have super powers does he? He's just a good marksman, right?
they also didn't show when the tumbler makes a burnout in the batcave
this movie is one of my most expected ones ever , almost like the transformers, and the role for 2 face is awesome love Aaron Eckhart ;-)
looked like batman was running across police car roofs....didnt see that in the cinema
this movie was so unpridictable it was verrry impressive. Nolan put the batman movie in a whole nother level.
Yay, the Good Ol' "Two-Face Coin" is back!
I bought my tickets yesterday, and im so excited...
Can you say, "most epic film till the next Batman Movie"?
HOLY HOLY HOLY Crap! Two-face and The Joker...My two favorite villans.
That part where he was hopping on the police cars.
that is so messed up that heath died before this movie
i never grew up with anything batman(no comics, shows or anything) or i just never paid attention to it because i like these ones better
oh yeah it is. I don't think I've ever seen anything so suspensful in my life.
First time I see it, thank"s a lot.
Actually it's in the script which you can dowload for free. BUT Nolan is famous for twists... so better wait and see.
Either way, thats a bit of footage I've never seen. And I'd like to see it where it would have been in the movie.
That scene is just him running to his bat pod after the joker tells him where Rachel and Dent are. its not a scene.
Well technically it's a teaser. for a thousand geeks to view.
Darn, I wonder even in the movie if they'll show his face.
