I had a certified plumber change the laundry faucet and replace the metal water pipes with some type of plastic tubing that had a joint that look like it was held together by clamps I'm in a worse position now because if that breaks water is going to squirt everywhere previously the faucet was simply leaking
What were you wiping onto the copper pipes with the acid brush before soldering it? Looking to replace my piping and laundry faucet and i want to get it right lol. Nice video!
Thank you so much my friend, your video alone answered all my questions. Only thing now is buying the necessary tools. Any suggestions for a guy on a budget? Thanks, blessings to you and yours 💯🙏🍻
FYI it’s a union not a coupling. And you should have just soldered the male adapter to the pipe and then taped and doped the union half to the adapter.
Very nice!
Thank you!

Probably PEX. Nothing wrong with that, it's a good plumbing material if installed correctly.
@1:23 LOL. You made it look so effortless, but my forearms cringed and knew better from exp.
Eh, it's not too bad 🙂

I believe its soldering/paste flux (tinning flux). It helps prepare the surface for soldering.
@davidm4339 That is exactly what it was, I ended up asking a friend and showing him the video and he confirmed it is infact the flux.
What size male thread adapters did you use?
I think 3/4"
@@GlennFrazeeYT youre the best, thanks i just used pex instead lmaoo saved me alot of time

Borrow what you can. Thrift stores. eBay.
My new sink doesn’t have holes to put the faucet in. Would someone be able to cut holes into the plastic?
You can do it with a regular wood drill bit

👍
Bear feet and soldering, manly.
You bet 👍
