Im so sorry your family experienced the home invasion. Shadow has PTSD from that experience. Everything dog daddy said i can relate to PTSD. Especially when he said to give him an out around strangers. He has a fight or flight response. Plus your comfort, support and protection is what he needs most. Thanks for getting him this help. Its obvious you love him very much.

It takes him like a minute to take an aggressive biting dog into trust and compliance and 10 15 minutes to teach the dog full comfort with him. It’s just amazing. I’m a crusty old bastard but this actually gives me a lump in my throat the way he takes dangerous dogs that may very well get put in shelters and turns them into living pets. You sir deserve a cape

Again , I am impressed by the way The Dog Daddy handles it. I received an excellent balanced training with my German Shepherd, and we are fine as a team going everywere of leash. But to see the basics again in such a clear way, in this video is refreshing. Not many people would be able to go forward that quick with a dog in that state. I applaude you. This is real dogtraining with results, and what is most important, in the interest of the welbeing of the dog. You can see this little dog changing his mind to a more relaxed state, just because he is getting clear bounderies and instructions and also the certainty that he is secure when he obeys. This is another level in comparison with the cookie trainings of positive only approach. I still don't get it , so many people can't see that. Just learn to read your dog .

My sympathies to your client, her family and Shadow. It take a time to heal after such a traumatic event. Knowing the Backstory we can accurately say this is Fear Aggression.

The haters 70% of them have deep psychological problems of self esteem and inability to change easily.. they cannot recognize the good even if it’s in their face, because it’s a threat to their ego . I think I need to study more Jung to try to figure out the mechanics of ego and a way for those unhappy people to start recognizing good instead of projecting themselves and avoiding “being wrong”

99 percent of his teachings are train the trainer classes. People do not realize the word respect when it comes to our dogs. Just like a bad child, it is usually because of the parents teaching techniques and not because the dog or child are inherently bad. We let them continue with bad reactions to things in life that the trainee cannot learn on their own and the parent doesn't know what they should be teaching as far as the reactions and traits from fear to happiness. We need correct affirming methods for the whole spectrum of attitude.

I think the dog takes some of his direction from the way his owner reacts. She kept tensing up and I think the dog was taking from that energy. Obviously, that's not all of it or even the main part. Dog Daddy is amazing.

DD you give too much information, and you talk very fast. It overwhelms people. It overwhelms me and it's not my dog, nor am I on the spot and nervous, maybe scared. We can only take in so much information. Think of people more like you do the dogs. Keep your messages short, SLOW and simple. Reduce the number of words and stop repeating so much. It will help dog owners a lot. ❤❤❤

DD is speaking it like it is no bs or spoon feeding, straight to the point which is exactly what these dog owners need so they can address what needs done. All it takes is a couple videos or even a little research to understand these issues but most of these dog owners don't bother. Not only are the explanations for the owner but for the video also, to which the owner can come back to and study later if they didn't manage to digest it all, but it's almost the same structure/process every time.

Whoa dude, you do realise that what you just said is superstitious medieval thinking, right? clothing does not contain magical properties that can damage a person's psyche, it's people and events and heredity that cause psychological issues.
Besides, speaking as a parent of 2 boys, now men, that's a mean and snarky attack on this kid -- who almost certainly chooses his own clothes, not his mother. No parent picks clothes for a kid this age, they are not a baby. This kid is old enough to know the social norms around clothing and he is clearly comfortable with his choice of attire, or he would refuse to wear it. This is a good moment to take your own advice from your earlier comment about the need for "respect", and respect this kid's choices.
