The Spider Shop are great for tarantulas but in my experience, not so good with jumping spiders and velvets! All my velvets died from them. I now use a breeder on FB and my 6 velvets are thriving 🎉

Hey, can anyone help me I’m wanting a bigger heat mat for the new viv for my leopard gecko and I’ve seen you use yours at the bottom of the viv with the soil on top is safe for leopard gecko, what are your thoughts.
would it be possible to use thin layer of spagnym moss as a substrate for a leos vivarium because my leopard gecko absolutley loves moss and spends her time sleeping in her humid hide or would that cause to much humidity

How can you tell if they ate or not? The flies are so tiny you can barely see them.

If you kept the moss damp then it would cause too much humidity yes
