1:32 #1 Not pausing before a set (get into the “mode” think about pushing yourself before doing the set)
2:28 #2 Not being nervous before a set (if you’re not nervous or anxious, probably not working hard enough)
3:46 #3 Not feeling discomfort on the last few reps (you should feel like you’re slightly dying… to an extent)
4:48 #4 Not making ugly ass faces on the last few reps (you should be pushing yourself hard enough to see your ugly face making an uglier face)
5:27 #5 Not making some sort of grunting noises or…. yeah. Don’t be a baby.
6:21 #6 Training is supposed to be fun, but if you’re breezing through your sets and it’s too much fun, maybe stop being a baby.
8:08 #7 How you feel after workout (Do you think that you could of went harder? Are you satisfied with how hard you pushed yourself? Or were u a baby?
    You’re welcome. Go get it.

    Note from newbie gym enjoyer.
Don't make your workout imidietly uncomfortable.
I gave up 4 times on the gym because my beginings were too sharp. Make yourself at first comfortable and get too know how to perform you exercises. Later when you feel comfortable with your movements, push your limits. This way you can make yourself comfortable with discomfort (kinda a paradox, but it worked for me). There is no gain in working out very intensivaly if you are gonna leave gym after 2 weeks

A thumbs-up straight away based on the first few words. Sean is absolutely correct when he debunks the idea that working out should be fun. Maybe if you're infirm or have various health issues "fun" exercises could be beneficial, but for anyone wanting to become fit, lean and build muscle most sessions should be hard work, not "fun". The enjoyment comes afterwards when you can wallow in the dopamine and endorphins created by pushing yourself.
