I’m pretty sure these matches are simulations since all the characters on both sides work for siege. It kinda proved it in the last cinematic trailer with ela and zofia

they will take few Staminan X and will be fine.
even in T.Hunt where the ops use lethal rounds, Kiryu will still use rubber bullets

Kiryu has probably killed quite a few guys he's rubbed their face into the payment and shoved them into limos with shady yakuza.
Also it's the characters colsplays as Yakuza characters not the yakuza characters in of themselves

They had some difficulty working with the voice actress in the original yakuza 2 apparently, which is why she left in literally the first scenes in yakuza 3. All we ever got were references to her until yakuza 6 basically just disregarded her existance with kiryu saying yumi was the only person he ever loved. It is refreshing to see her though.
