Since Soma is fighting _against_ becoming Dracula again Death chose to kill Soma so that another "candidate" like Graham, Dario and Dmitri may take his place by becoming the new Dracula. Mind you since Soma has the Power of Dominance he ultimately *absorbs* Death's soul in both Aria and Dawn of Sorrow making him his servant once more regardless.
@@ocult100 I think hes talking about the fight with the Necromancer in the first Lords of Shadow, which are extensions of the True Death. I think he should have been included as well.
I understand the item thing, but you spent the whole battle rolling and attacking very little, and the pokemon stayed still and attacked when you did and stayed still again. You should have used a faster weapon and a pokemon that is constantly attacking, or if not, you should have given orders to the one you were already using or put it in automatic mode

Death serves the dark lord, which Soma is not. He is not doing what Dracula was meant to do.
I liked Aria of Sorrow’s version of death. Simple in design yet makes for pretty good boss, in my opinion.
