Going back a few months to watch this series now that I found your YT channel. This should be interesting considering my current game is on Flint Hills as well but using the main farm. I like your choice of equipment. I will have to loo up LR Modding. Those Great Plains tillage pieces look fantastic.
Just a FYI Good luck, I was doing a new farm on this map with the new Soil DLC and soon realized that to use it plus have fields that large took way more lime and fertilizer than it should. For your smallest field which I also used, I had almost 4 complete 18 wheeler dumps of lime at the toon of $8000 a trailer! I am finding that this DLC only favors medium to small fields. Your spreader and sprayers will run out of product before you can hardly make one pass!
Oof, thanks for the heads up. It seems like the upfront investment might be steep but I would expect year to year it won't take so much product but I guess I'll find out. :)
@@KederkFarms The cost of it is very unrealistic, but the worst part is that if you use the automatic spread function of the DLC it dumps 5-7 tons of product per hector to make it reach its ultimate state, which almost runs your equipment out of product before you have even made one field pass. I quit that map and went to Mercer County because it had smaller fields which the DLC could handle properly. Until someone mods the soil DLC the large map fields are almost unplayable. With the calculations of what will be needed you will be liming and fertilizing one field for days.
Yeah I can't wait. Really looking forward to playing with all the new mechanics. JS Mapping is actually working on adding Anhydrous support to Precision Farming I think so that will be a great addition as well!
This farm has almost the exact same setup I use on Buck's Co.! Everything is exactly the same down to the pickup truck, except for the 8000 series... I went with a 6R to keep things more modern. Also, what's that compact JD tractor you have hooked up to the feed mixer?
Nice! I just started grabbing all the newish mods that I kept wanting to try and adding them to my mod folder over the last several weeks. Some really cool things have come out recently!
Haha, The Farm Sim Guy is great, one of the few FS Content Creators I spend my limited free time watching. Hoping he and I get a chance to do something collaborative soon!
I just added the precision DLC to the game and I am using it on a new save game of Medicine Creek. One issue I am having is I can not buy fields I have to cheat them in using the easy developer mod
I know I'm late to the party on this one but I just have to ask.....does anyone know where I can find that workshop with the John Deere posters on the walls?? I've been looking everywhere and can't find it. Thanks! Love this series Kederk!!
As this series is pretty old unfortunately it would be impossible for me to recreate a mod-list for it however I have started including a mod list in my most recent series on Lincoln Creek.
I plan to go back to it. Was giving it some time to see if the update would eventually make it's way out to public release. If not I might do another season on it over the holidays.
@@KederkFarms Okay thank you. I remember back in the FS13 days with the soil management mod there was a whole process of editing the XML of the map and it was a pain for sure
Kederk, your farm you are playing on....When I load the game and map it does not show that farm by field 25 and 26. I have tried everything and both map versions and still nothing. Any help on this?
I built this farm using the in-game landscaping tools and several placeables. The grain setup I'm using was released as a placeable by JS Mapping as well
you stated on here that this map has been updated for the precision DLC, that's not correct. I was just on his sight, and the download has not been updated for 28 days. so its not possible that its been updated for the new DLC....you can still play it with the DLC, it just uses default values for any crops that are not part of FS 19 usually. Like Maize plus.
Definitely will be continuing Clarke Farms. Been feeling a bit under the weather for the last few weeks which is been slowing me down. More videos soon
This has the potential to be a brilliant series, looking forward to seeing how it pans out! 👍
Thanks! Wasn't sure I'd like it at first but watching your series on the map made me realize I was really missing out!

I really liked the Great Plains equipment. LR Modding puts out some quality mods!
For anyone wondering at 10:30, that HUD mod is from yesmods.com. It's called Mixer Wagon Display, and it's by alfalfa6945
Thank you
Great video as always! Look forward to this series because this isn't coming to consoles, please keep going with this series! Have a great day kederk!
Thanks, I'm looking forward to it as well!
@@KederkFarms yes keep going!
Nice intro to the series, hogs on seasons can get intense with the rate they reproduce, you are going to be busy!
I've got 500 capacity in this enclosure, can't wait to see how fast I hit capacity
@@KederkFarms it dont take long to reach capacity for sure, I like hogs seems to make decent money and I like the manure aspect

Does it work like real life.when you lift up the white stinky cloud cones out of the knives?
Sadly no, None of the mods I've used do that.
Yeah I figured that.can you get ahold of a modder you now a d maybe you two can make one that foes work right
This will be awesome series 😍 right after MN 😏💪
Thanks!
Interesting to see how the Precision Farming mod works with Seasons.
I'm curious as well. Especially how the crop rotation mechanics play with the altered soil type and fertilizer yield mechanics.

@@KederkFarms what’s that small JD you got hooked up to the pig feed mixer? Looks like the perfect size for the livestock work I want to start :)
6000 series. It was a colab between Diniz and Tired Iron Modding. Should be able to find a link on either of those facebook pages
nice vid bro, you have competition with the farm sim guy hahahah, wil be nice to c how different you guys are in making this super map shine. :)

Most likely caused if you are using Unit Convert Lite. ThundR released an update for it recently: 1drv.ms/u/s!Ah-FciPR_a3MmWg4N3la3VJQboto
@@KederkFarms Yep i forgot you told us about that in an earlier video, Thanks Kederk!!
Questions with the 8RX. Am I the only one that still has it shaking and moving on its own??
There was an update to it that resolved this issue I believe. I've not had any issues using the latest version
@@KederkFarms I thought so. For some strange reason it doesn't work for me. Maybe because I have real mud turned on or dynamic vehicles turned on

Dang I like the big shed
Can we get a full list of mods so we can play your experience?
As this series is pretty old unfortunately it would be impossible for me to recreate a mod-list for it however I have started including a mod list in my most recent series on Lincoln Creek.
Precision farming plus you equals this. Are you gonna play on the millennial farner map anymore?

@@KederkFarms Mappers paridise said they are scrapping the map for the time being. I think the fact it wasn't put on the modhub really upset them
Any chance you could link some of the non giants modhub mods? I saw quite a few id love to try!
I'm working on the mod list now it will get posted in a couple days. The struggle as usual is I don't always remember where I got half my mods. :)
Yeah like that big barn!
Love the vid
Thanks!
@@KederkFarms 👍
How do you get the precision farming to work with mod maps? Any work you need to do in the XML or just plug and play?
It's just plug and play as long as you're okay with using the default soil type map.

Around the farm? might add a few more to clean things up. Not currently planning on doing any forestry though.
