- The birth of a wild Exmoor Pony foal, and her first steps.
Born at Bamff Wildland in the afternoon of 28th April 2024; the 4th foal of this spring.
Welcome Argaty, daughter of Kilbride and Peter Parker!
Argaty joins her half-siblings Airlie, Dalwhinnie and Appin, all of whom were born shortly before Argaty.

I love how the other horses come to say hello to the newborn ❤
I did have an experience where a first-time mother did have her foal sort of "stolen" by the herd. We had to do some "rounding up" to get mama and baby together. All ended well.
Such a bag of emotions to see this happen. Beautiful!
It is amazing how quickly they learn to walk.
Horses are so intelligent and loving and caring. This video shows it all so clearly and in a beautiful natural setting.
