Beauty of nail knot. It gets tighter and tighter on fish. I use it to connect heavy leaders. Snook. Tarpon. Bass. Yellow tail. Snapper. Sail fish. One of the best and tightest knots there is. This tool is around my neck - with clippers. Can’t beat it for strength. Can tie it in 15 seconds- on anything.
Exactly what I needed to see! Thanks for making this.

Great video - simple, and very well displayed. 5 Stars!
Thank you. I didn't know you could use this tool to tie the fly on the leader also. I was only using it to tie fly line to leader. Thanks again.
This answers my question.Good video.

The only problem I see here, is that it looks like you end up with a lot of wasted Tippit material.
It's not a barrel knot. It's a multiple overhand knot. Also called a nail knot.
Waste too much leader with this method.
Just adjust how much you pull through the hook, with practice it’s down to a half inch
