We’ve not learnt our lesson after going through 5 managers in the last 10 years? Never backed one manager through the dip! If ETH was still at Ajax we’d be pining for him like we did back in 21-22…Tuchel? I said in the other review vid - I think Eric had full intention of swinging the axe when he came in. It was obvious who he rated and who he didn't. The boards dodgy finance history changed that. Players who correctly weren't getting a look in are currently our most frequently playing players. I think a structure and 2 years and Eric will get us there
Why do United fans think anything is going to change from last 3 months as been the same players week in week out? Bringing off young guys who have played a lot of football makes sense. We can’t rely on young guys to play a full 90 every match when we are not playing for something. Keep them fit for the FA Cup and take our chance.

We are still talking about Champions league, come on guys. Let’s accept the fact we are a mid table team and only going down with the squad we have. We need to have a major rebuild, replace more than 80-90 % of the playing squad. We are not just good enough. The mentality, the coaching, the patterns of play, the ownership, all of it that makes a football club is wrong with this club.
most of our starting XI injured, im not sure who you support but manchester united w/out injuries are not a mid table team you clown. Think back to last feb when we beat city 2-1 at OT and the title race was on. different story with 60 injuries in a season
You say we're a mid-table team but we've had a load of injuries and finished 3rd last season with the most clean sheets when we had our first-choice back 4 playing consistently. Let's not get too giddy and try and keep some things in perspective

People need to realise ETH is dealing with players that know they are finished at United but is forced to play them due to all the injuries United have. A makeshift defence which has no pace so they have to drop deep which leaves the massive gap between midfield and defence. All this is due to how the Glazers have ran United employing Arnold and Murtough who have been buying players without even thinking will that player fit the way United play. The United squad is just a bunch of players thrown together and this is what ETH is dealing with. Only Onana, Dalot, Shaw, Martinez, Mainoo, Mount, Bruno, Garnacho, Hojlund and Amad plus the academy lads are worth keeping. 10 players worth keeping out of 28 players!!!! IT;'S THE PLAYERS NOT THE MANAGER!!
I would want to give EtH two full seasons where he has no bad injury record and then asses him

1. Rashford doesn't do any shifts, that's the point of criticism.
2. Hoijland is a target man, because his feet aren't quick enough to create his own chances, but quite good in the air, striking and holding play.
3. We don't know if Amad is any good, but deserves a chance over Anthony.
4. Bruno has played better without Rashford as the main playmaker. Most chances created and all that.

6. Taking off younger players and expecting senior pros to be able to keep it steady without guidance is minimal.
7. Mainoo looks a bit knackered and starting to be found out a bit, which again is a natural cycle. He'll develop with time.

Find me a manager who could do better with the players he’s had at his disposal this season. ETH is not without fault, but with a fully fit squad I’m entirely sure we would be in the top four. Give him a proper structure and direction with transfers, get rid of the dead wood and he will take us places

@@mitchconner4057 I think he’s probably had his best season for us but he’s still prone to errors and I think he’s been judged on his own poor standards rather than actually being that good.
Give hojlund time on the bench, play Amad as false 9 and let garnacho and Rashford/Antony come in narrow and get goals. This would be a refreshing change to the attack, but this would need bravery from the midfield and defence to play high... Maybe why we don't do it is the players can't be trusted. This could be why Amad doesn't start as he is best through the middle, but we don't have the personnel fit to pull this off.🤔

Ten Hag is the best manager we have had since Ferguson. He needs time, you still realise he needs to build a whole team including good depth it will take another season or two. It takes time to refurbish a team that has been horrible for so long.

I’ve just seen the highlights. It was an even game, and we only scored because of a mistake by Burnley. It’s been going on for far too long. I’ve been trying to back him, but while results have been terrible, it’s been the performances that have been the most shocking.
Ten Hag has not lost the fans (not most of them anyway). Give the man a chance under the new regime to turn things around.
I have steeled my resolve for the dips we would have to go through to rebuild this football club and INEOS have begun that well with the clear out at the top of the club (bringing football focused operators in). Erik Ten Hag is the least of United's problems and he has had to deal with so much adversity since he came in. Give him the opportunity to prove himself under the new regime who seem focused on getting things right.
Back the manager! Let him try to set things right under this new regime! That's the least we can do as a football club after the impatient and continuous under achievement that has plagued us since Sir Alex left.

NO! on the other end we have players earning around 270M GBP but (with a few exceptions maybe) have absolutely no idea on what they're doing or what club they play for. lets rewind to 2022 when ETH met with Fletcher and Murtough - when your senior staff responsible for development of the team leave a meeting with a prospective managerial candidate with statements like "we had to take notes because we were soo impressed" and didn't realize the scale of the work to be done, then we have to accept we're royally F****D. We have some semblance of a plan with SJR and his guys but the problem isn't simply the gaffer and the players, it's something that'll take its time to resolve. lets simply pray we all live to see united rise again. hopefully it wont as long as the scousers.

This season has been a disaster|| Injuries; players under-performing and a weak squad. We should not be relying on Mainoo and Garnacho. They should have been eased in this season, not started as many games as they have. Amad is only worth the a place on the bench. He has been loaned out for two years now to help him develop so to say start him now is not right. Antony has not developed this season but his energy and defensive play puts him in front of Amad for me. So, what do we have? Only one defender (Dalot) would play if the injuries were not an issue; Mainoo has to start every game because McTommeny, Eriksen, Mount and Casimero are not available/good enough; Garnacho has to play every game but has not delivered anywhere near enough assists that Hojland needs to score 30 goals and Rashford has under performed. Take Onana, Dalot and Bruno as the only players to deliver this year and that's it. Not good enough to be successful.
I think that ten Hag will come good under the new structure if we recruit 3-4 first team players this summer. We need more but that will take at least two transfer windows. I hope he is given time but that is not assured. I hope that Ratcliffe's comments on Arteta are a sign of his view of EtH.

Wan bissaka casemiro martial greenwood sancho shaw malacia maguire varane lindelof mctominay eriksen hannibal pellistri antony and rahsford all need to go if we ever want to get somewhere . Write off the next 2 season and replace every last one of them with academy and start buy positions one by 1. 400m in fees and nearly 100m in wages wiped. Sure we can invest money too and build a back line and midfield. 2 cb left back and a cdm and rw and back up striker. Surely that could be done under 500m

@@pauldavies7251 all of this is true and the main thing to take from it is the fact that no club wants to buy our over paid, overrated, average players so there’s no option but to let their contacts run out and thats why Ten Hag is putting the enthuses on the academy and rebuilding with them cos they are coachable and willing to learn but that process will take time, one things for sure tho is that Ten Hag is one of the very best at developing young players and that’s why he must stay and it’s why I’m excited going forward with him leading us.

Fair enough players are not performing time and time again but ETH has not addressed or changed an of the issues United are having.. The axe needs to fall on both players and manager! No excuses no delusions.
