A Brief History of the Kazoo

As the curator of the Kazoo Museum I was looking for a brief informational film that we could show museum visitors to introduce them to the instrument. Apparently, a film like that doesn't exist. So I took it into my own hands and produced this video.

This is what makes youtube worthwhile! Great video! I love it, the history, the color, the buzz! Down South Submarine, I salute you! True story: I was once at a lunch with several other (well known, but often derided) charitable organization members. I reached to my inside jacket pocket and pulled out my Kazoo. To my utter amazement, a well respected, socially elite lady at the other end of the table reached into her purse and pulled out her Kazoo. Well, you just never know, do you? : )

CynderGirl77 I have two, one plastic, one metal, however, the plastic one was terrible at high notes, however, I found a solution to that, I discovered that the narrower the end of the kazoo, the easier it is to get a higher pitch, so I just shoved a small Lego peice in there and it fixed the problem
