Hahaha! Seriously, these videos are hilarious. *They are probably the most effective videos to convince people to NEVER get a pilot license* or even fly in a small airplane. Disclaimer: I've been a private pilot for over 20 years.
Lol man I went to flight school a few years ago didn’t finish because of money but I got about 65 hours I’ve been saving up to go back I want to get my license and all my ratings and this just makes me wanna go back even more.
At least not with these guys. I check out a rental car better than they check out an aircraft.
Great Show and Season 2's shaping up fantastic. Sad loss in Brad White, Fantastic Achievements in such a few short years.

Yeah it is. Shame no one has uploaded more of Series 2. I can't even find any torrents of it... and living here in Australia, it is the only way I can watch this show...

Kerry is way to cocky and thinks he's the bet pilot ever in the world except he hates technology and trusting his instruments. You have to trust your instruments.
He is the one pilot on that show that I absolutely hate. I wouldn't want to fly with him ever. I mean that flight where Stu was PiC he was an awful copilot.

I started to watch these shows with high expectations but can't stand them. They blow up so much of this and if you don't know about flying you will love what those idiots do. Over 50yrs of flying all over the world and what these idiots do is not part of flying.

The FAA airmen registry lists Claire McCauley from MENOMONIE WISCONSIN as a "STUDENT PILOT" and "CARRYING PASSENGERS PROHIBITED" - that is as of 11/2018 - so, she obviously is not a pilot in the context of being a "copilot" or ever acting as PIC
Exactly! She can't even log any hours as a student, unless the person "at the controls" / PIC, is a CFI. But that issue date is back in 2012, so I'm sure she never pursued it any further.
nobody wants to fly with Kerry so Claire joins as a dummy copilot... dont think he is even a CFI, so thats illegal what they did... should be GROUNDED!

I agree with you. If he were ever to grab the controls of an aircraft in which I was PIC, I’d squawk 7500 and have him escorted from the flight when we touch down. That was an idiotic move driven by his arrogant belief that he knew better than the guy with more experience on that type of aircraft who also happened to be pilot flying and PIC.
That bit with the CIrrus where the one guy grabs the stick and tries to justify his actions is just incredible. I remember this from the first series. It seems like one of those guys at the table was thinking the same as I thought when I first saw it - He asked, “Who was PIC?” - When it became apparent to him that the PIC was also the pilot flying, his immediate response should have been, “Well, what the fuck were you doing grabbing the controls, then?” and every single one of them should have refused to ever fly with that guy. Technically, what he did was a hijack and the PIC had every right to do pretty much ANYTHING to regain control of that aircraft. I remember that the PIC was chosen because he had more experience with that type of aircraft even though the other guy had more experience overall. However, it doesn’t matter. PIC is the ultimate authority when it comes to the safe conduct of a flight. That guy would NEVER get in an aircraft with me unless he had absolutely no way to access the controls. Not after he’s demonstrated that he will resort to hijacking the aircraft from the PIC because he is arrogant, unprofessional, and irresponsible enough to act on his belief that he knows better.
To all people just repeating this over and over. Get over it, taking control is something that is taught in the airlines. It's called pilot incapacitation. You don't have to prove it, you just have to feel it. You can argue over it later with a beer but in itself it is not something totally outside flight safety. When you are student pilot your instructor is bound to take-over in critical phase if you mess-up. The same apply later whenever you fly with another pilot. And you should'nt be in aviation if your stupid ego cannot stand this.
@@12345fowler - Pilot incapacitation is when a pilot is no longer capable of flying. This pilot was not incapacitated. He knew the aircraft (better than the other guy) and kept telling him, “it is fine”. The PIC had not messed up. He was not a pilot under instruction. He was compos mentis.
The other guy should NEVER have grabbed the controls under these circumstances and certainly not without declaring that he is doing so. Try to spin this however you like by introducing scenarios which are completely irrelevant to the actual situation but your arguments are fallacious. That move was completely out of order and potentially dangerous.

Fuel costs $$$$, and in ferry flying, the less you spend the more you "earn", not only that but old planes tend to eat up more fuel than they were new...
Mario Joia But if you crash the plane before delivering it to the customer you get no money at all, and you may get medical bills that greatly exceed any possible profit.
This is extremes. And with Range many if these planes your luck to have reserve for the target airport. There are no other airports around.....
@@mariojoia1337 fuel is charged to customer, include reserve and possible headwinds (is what we do)... owners wants their planes arriving safe.... the fuel issues is created for the drama towards a public without aviation knowledge... and engines have to be airworthy within limits, so they dont 'eat' more fuel that much... as pilot u calculate that in during ur planning.... lot of drama crap in this series
any wise pilot flies with a lot of reserve, especially when flying to unknown territories ... for the drama in this series, they acting fuel issues... if what they do it for real, the authorities will ground them... air safety is not where u can joke with...
On a risky flight copilot should peel back the captain and gobble him like no tomorrow to keep the captain in calm and relaxed mode /

People pay them to fly their planes from where if was purchased to the buyers local airport/altaport.
I guess so but some planes they fly are in a pretty bad shape how much can one pay for a delivery for a small old plane that needs service

These guys are extremely brave but they are breaking the rules. For example you always must have enough fuel to fly to an alternative airport. They land with fumes left. They must not be surprised if they crash and die! Rather strip off the wings and put the plane on a ship!
