What I learned from this video:
-If I put a can of fuel in my car it becomes a rolling bomb.
-If flying over the ocean you should question the need for survival gear.
    -Airworthiness is assessed while flying.
-If you need more fuel just add more tanks in the passenger seating and rig something up with parts from the plumbing section of the hardware store. That's allowed.
-Be amazed when you arrive at your destination safely.

I wonder what was the cost was to bring the plane all the way across the pacific to Australia? In fact I wonder what it cost to bring the problem plane to its destination (if they didn’t cut bait and run) with all its problems. Did the owner go for a new or rebuilt engine and who bears the cost of all those maintenance checks?? I just wish they added that extra little bit of information just for the hell of it. I mean in case I ever won the lottery and wanted my new plane delivered lol. I would think that the Courier service must have some kind of huge detailed contract (if they are smart) that this $$ is what we charge for the courier service pilot, co pilot and crew if needed and all their accommodations and expenses. The owner of the aircraft is and “should be” responsible for everything else, all the check ups needed to make the delivery. All repairs needed to make the delivery safely. If the owner refuses to authorize any check ups and/or repairs needed for the safety of the pilots/crew to deliver the plane, the courier company can stop the delivery at any time the plane is not deemed safe for the crew because the owner would not authorize repairs, but the courier company still gets paid in full plus their expenses. Not their problem the new owner of the plane does not want to pay for what is needed for his plane. That way the owner of the courier company, who seems to be under a lot of stress would not have to Endor that stress with just a call to the owner of the plane. Just call the owner telling them your plane is leaking gas or what ever. The repair cost is estimated to be $$, and a total recheck cost $$, a new/rebuilt engine plus installation cost $$. If the owners says NO, the boss man of the courier company says that’s a rap, tells the owner of the plane where his plane is and sends his people home!! That might not make the planes new owner very happy but that is for him to take up with the seller. The pilots and crew still get their pay, they know they did not have to risk their lives delivering a unsound plane and the owner of the courier company does not have to be under all that stress preventing him from a heart attack or stroke! I know they do that with cars. My parents used to fly to Florida each winter just after Christmas and fly back the 1st week in June and they paid a company to drive their car to Florida a few days before the flew to Florida and drive it back to NJ a few days before they got back home. I remember on 1 occasion the cars AC stopped working in Georgia on its way back to NJ and the company called my father and told him that it would cost (a lot)$$ to fix the AC so the company could continue driving the car Home. I remember what a chit fit my father took because whatever mechanic they stopped at wanted a fortune to fix the AC ( like twice + +, what his normal mechanic In NJ cost)but if he didn’t get it fix the company driving his car back to NJ would leave the car at this gas station/shop and dad would have to pay $50 per day to keep it there till he figured out what to do. They gave my father till the next morning to make up his mind, that was it. Dad had no choice but to pay the ungodly repair costs. I also remember the courier company telling dad if he did not do the repairs he would be responsible for flying the driver from Georgia back to NJ. Kind of a rock and a hard place. Dad paid for the repairs. They must have something like the contract dad signed, considering not repairing the AC in a car is not going to cause anyone to die but a repair not done on a plane would mean someone could and probably would die.

I would imagine its about speed, its an average of 31d to 45d to ship a car from Los Angeles to Melbourne Australia... this isnt counting the time it takes to get the paperwork done n some ports even require inspections before n after transport, these can be very costly n time consuming...it also ships at a higher cost because the plain takes up a lot of space n adding the cost of insurance, taxes n other fees separate from the shipping price, its easier n cheaper to go with private specialized delivery companies...

Why does every episode of a show on TV have to be portrayed as "life or death" to be deemed watchable? They're adding extra fuel tanks and the narrator says they're "turning the plane into a _bomb!"_ Um, yeah, technically, all planes will explode if they crash unless they're entirely out of fuel... I can't watch this. Could've been interesting if they didn't over sensationalize it.

The story told, says the female pilot Yasmina is very worried and apprehensive about flying with the male pilot because of all the equipment and all the extra survival gear he is taking with them on the plane flight. Personally that would make me feel better and more confident to be flying with a person who is taking all the extra supplies so he could/can deal with any and all situations. I would feel more comfortable knowing that if something does happen he would know how to keep the both of us alive. In fact I would want to learn as much as I could about every item he is taking, how to operate/use it and in what situations it could be used. I would spend as much time as possible learning as much as I could from him before I ever left the ground. In fact if he was in agreement even after we had a successful fight, I would like to spend more time (as much as he could give me) learning what he knows. Like my mother used to say “You can never be over prepared and no one has ever complained they knew to much” !!!
