Yes !!!!! I tore my Achilles 4 years ago and my calf was always sore prior to it being torn. CMC we need you all year but 4 weeks off will definitely help you and your team.
CMC take another week please we need you in the playoffs, but more importantly we need you 100%
CMC is the man, let him rest, if he feels he can play then if needed let him play. If BA can start catching passes again then we should be ok.

We need to sign him before the end of the season, and someone scoops him up, and they will quickly as soon as the season is over.. I foresee the franchise tag going on him, if they don't, then we are one stupid ball club.. He has been vital to our defense for the past few years, and we need him more than anyone that's due up for a contract next year on defense... Lenoir is due next year, too, so we need to sign one now to an extension and tag the other after the season is over... My opinion anyway....lol
He needs to rest as much as possible. That is a serious injury.

If CMC misses the game against Minnesota, he should be on IR, but if he's fit to play on Sunday, then they shouldn't put him on IR. I think he will miss Sundays game, but will be back against LA next week. God Bless brother!

As soon as the 9ers added the Achilles to his calf injury on the report, 4 weeks on IR sounds like a good idea to me.

In my experience, the only thing that heals a calf is rest and sometimes lots of rest. Calf is worse than high ankle imo, because re-injury for a calf is way worse.
Jordan should start, keep Christian healthy till he is at 100% so he is ready to roll for playoffs

Last year he had seveal balls he should have caught, and again last game.I know the saying " if they could catch they would be wide receivers" See too many DB's not able to catch footballs.

I would sit CMC against vikings. We have a great run game, Aiyuk is going to go hard, we have the weapons for the W. Even if we lose 🙄, we still need CMC for the games that matter.
JM...when you have a hot hand you feed him the ball. That Achilles/calf is NO JOKE. It could go to season ending & requiring surgery on one play! 😕 We have a very capable #2 that teams now have to try to learn and plan for. We have Minn, Lambs, NE & Cards. I'm not beyond sitting CMC until Sea & KC. Think season, not just Sunday.

Yes Mason was fabulous, but he doesnt have to carry the whole load. Lets try a stacked backfield, with Mason, Grerendo & juice and force Minn to really load the box with say 8or9 guys. That would give more blocking for Purdy and open up spots for the receivers With that setup put in the speed at WR ( like Cowley, Conway, Ba) and air it out some.😂

The only reason you put someone on ir is so you can move someone else on the roster not to let him rest. They won’t play him until he’s ready. I’m hoping he gets an extra week off before he gets re evaluated.
If CMC has a Achilles whatever, its a serious problem.. It takes like a month to 3 to heal and thats if its just a minor issue and u stay off it by like wearing a boot or using crutches, completely no straining or pressure on it.. They say in pool activity and kinda rehab is ok-ish...And with his job being a RB in the NFL thats nearly impossable to do as for staying off it...They say it can take up to a year to fully heal but we dont honestly know the extent of his injurie fully so who knows.. How he got it so bad during the offseason sucks but best they dont rush him being the first games of the season, Put him on IR and let him stay off it we got plenty of other players to go too or we can always pick up another RB, maybe go get one we released as we cut down to 53 this year... (Mitchell- if hes healthy for once)

Sometimes you gotta save a player from himself. Let him rest for at the next 2 weeks or bring him back against the Patriots. GM and Coach do your job and think long term.

We need too take that money we got left over and sign Mooney Ward to a extension. Try and get at least 2 years but 4 would be the best...He is a key part of are defense.. No. If you put him on ir he can’t practice for four weeks minimum and that puts him behind where he already is and right now he’s behind from no or limited practice. I think the niners over used him last year and maybe tired him out.
