Hi Jules, I have owned my 1966 D7 Bantam since 1975, I am the second owner. I haven't used it for a long time and your video is good to watch. It is encouraging me to get it going again. In 1976 I rode the Bantam from South London to Tenby in a day. About 260 miles. So many people would say to me "I used to have one of these I wish I had not got rid of it" So I thought I will keep the Bantam or I may be I will be saying the same thing. I could go on forever: thank you for the video, Steve : )

Depends on how far you are going to ride each day and the sort of roads - suspension is very basic but for a short commute along quiet roads it would be fun. Not so good on fast A roads though - top speed on mine is around 45-50mph but takes ages to get up to top speed!

Changed the main jet as it was too rich and it is definitely faster now than on the video by at least 5 mph!
