Love mine. Refuse to upgrade until we get another clamshell in high specs. If its not a clamshell and small enough to throw in a regular pocket its not a handheld imo.
I put 128gb sd card it worked I like it I own one sitting on my desk. I found 5c battery on amazon long battery life. You can put pocket go v1 firmware add fix screen tearing fix’s pretty good. Runs up to Ps1 at 25-30fps depending on game.
Totally underrated part of this device: Getting into fiddling with emulators. Yes, this works out of pocket, but anyone who really wants to play their old roms or romhacks is probably gonna be disappointed with the pretty weak stock snes emulation and the weird roms. The device is cheap, but it's not hard to fiddle with it to get it to a really good state. 1. Replace the SD card with a real sandisk or similar micro sd, and install the miyoo crf on it. Install any tailor-made emulators for it, and put your roms into the appropriate folders. 2. Overclock it to 798 through the emulator options, and you won't see almost any problems running 16 bit games, especially if you turn off transparency (causes some visual weirdness but makes the games super smooth). 3. Replace the battery with a quality 1500-1600 mAh, and keep the brightness and volume as low as you can while still enjoying it. Combine all of that, a lot of which involves completely free steps esp if you have sandisks+readers around your house, and what you've got is a clamshell snes+gba that runs games perfectly on really nice and responsive controls that can last for over 10 hours. And if you mess something up or brick the system along the way, there's little consequence! I was super afraid to do tech fiddling until I got it, but it's great to get into that sort of stuff. Way less risk than trying to install cfw on a DS/3DS or something similar.
thank you for the review, i realized that i began enjoying them much more recently ;D i got one of those, also yellow, arrived last month, great value for the price u pay for it. u are absolutely right, no high expectations here but still a very solid little unit. i got it mainly for the collection and of course, as rightfully mentioned, how many clamshell retro handhelds are there, right? next to none, so yeah, take my money AliExpress.
I had mine for all of five days there was so many problems too many to list but a few are. it shut down it reset by itself it would play sound with no picture only sound.(junk)

Cool... I got one of these its an ok device actually
Did u install the cfw?
@@EyeLuvMakeup271 it came with games already
@@magicvampirelver1321 yeah, I know but from what I've learned the cfw improves the screen tearing and overall performance of the system

I really like the form factor but it sucks that it doesn't have battery saves built in within the emulators. You have to make sure to power save.
Nice review mate.
I have the red one and I personally think its worth it for the price you get alot of games and the form factor is great.
You can play Yoshi's world thru the Gba emulation. Runs perfectly as well as Mario rpg
I'd buy one if they're available in my location, for years they'd only had the PSP knockoffs, and recently they're selling the SUP Game Boys.
Cannit wait to play mine. I've seen akot of reviews and I always think.. imagine if we had this console back 20 years ago 🤣🤣

Does it let you successfully save game progress??
Glad I ordered mine last month when they were just $25
well i ordered it for 39..
8:50 how you can do that?can give a link please?
Powkiddy q90 too?
Thanks alot for the review because i was really into getting it because it's classic design.
It's cheap but it's cool. I live the format. It's one of my favorites. And I own rg350, RP2 and so on
Personally I think it's good but the Shoulder Buttons leave a lot to be desired.

I pay 23$ for this nice console. :) GBA, GBC, GB, some sega conslole is good, but for psx is low fps.
You can also install the miyoo mini firmware (i think it's onion os) and the majority of games get fixed with that PS + emulator combo, cheers
I need help i dont know who to save please help
Your save files are works well on gba game? Mine works only one game prince of persia do you know how to fix it?
Does this come with the sd card and games inside it or do you have to buy the sd card and games
Thank you for the video
Can the firmware be upgraded to 1.3?
how did you get the pokemon ruby
you can run the gameboy advance version of yoshis island
toys from kindersurprise are built with more quality...
This is a fun device but it deleted my Pokémon save by itself and now I don’t trust any emulators....
Does it let you successfully save game progress??
This definitely will replace my SUP NES console. For a low budget, this offers a bit more compared to the FC 3000
