Three Months at the Bear Wallow 08/01/2024 through 10/21/2024

The bears are back.....last year the pond almost dried up and I had no great captures of bear soaking at the "spa". This spring, bear did not use the pond but beginning in August 2024 there were multiple bear past the pond each day (there is a salmon stream not too far away). This is a long compilation (~10 min.) of just a few of the visits. While out hunting with a friend in 2021 we found this bear wallow with heavily used trails leading to it. There was a large shore pine near it and I decided to hang a trail camera. Bear, wolves, deer, martin, sandhill cranes, and ravens frequent the area surrounding the pond. Enjoy...
