oh my, this was nostalgic, back in my win 7 days, i changed my entire os appearance so its just look like windows 8/8.1, right from the boot logo and the loading icon.
ah yes, that was windows 7 glory days i want to remember~
For me Windows 8 was legit one of the WORST operating system I've ever used, rating right behind MAC. And I'd say the best one is either win 7, XP or 10, also Linux fits well in there since it's decent as well.

I think that's a synonym for one of those, I can't remember which, I think legacy is the same as BIOS
UEFi is just the fancy GUI to access BIOS right?

You could do that back in the windows 7 days
That’s actually something a lot of manufacturers of pre built PCs and laptops do as a lot of them replace the default Windows boot up logo with their own logo like our pre built Dell PC from the factory had Windows 8 installed and had the Dell logo instead of the Windows boot up logo! We of course in 2015 upgraded it to Windows 10 and what’s interesting is how it still retained the custom boot logo after it was updated to Windows 10! :)

set quick boot to false in the bios.
Press the PAUSE / Break key on the keyboard quickly to pause and enjoy your success

What I can mention is that there's a different method to do it for legacy BIOS boot, but that would involve just replacing the Windows logo only.

Yes, The HP logo I did not like, I once made dualboot with Ubuntu and disappeared the HP logo (left the Windows 10) but when I removed Ubuntu it returned to normal :(

Heh. I recently too got a HP laptop, when power button is clicked, the logo shows up for a brief second and just goes off. The loading spinning thing doesn't even show xD

Tip for people who get secure boot error : Spam Your Bios Key On startup (you can search it up for your specific laptop / motherboard manufacturer), find the "Secure Boot" Option (I think it would under either "boot" or "Security", Idk, i didn't need to go to the bios for like 3 months now) Select It, And Select the "Disabled" Or "Off" State, Now Go to the "exit" tab and select "exit and save changes", when you boot your computer back up, hackbgrt should be working.

I've got this logo (0:10) changed to the ASUS logo by default. Yes, I have an ASUS laptop.
My school Has Window's 10 but it shows two logos
One is HP And The Other Is The Windows Logo
Windows logo shows up as normal Until 10 Seconds Later The HP Logo Shows
Up And It Boots Up As Normal

And for some reason, when I boot up, the Asus logo does come in between, the the loading logo comes on like the "top" part and is multiplied along its breadth... so like 5 loading thingys from windows. I really dont know why it glitches that hard.....

I believe this is how OEMs get their logo on there too, as it will leave any splash it thinks is from the BIOS there.

the method itself is simple. the only really complicated thing is the workaround for copying the image file(s)
@@FlyTechVideos you can also just replace the image file that it came with and you just need to remove and reinstall the script, which takes almost no time and it will install your new one so you don't have to jump through hoops to get it to work

I have UEFI in system information but instead of windows logo it shows the logo of my motherboard brand which is ASUS, will this software can replace that ugly asus bootlogo?

when HackBGRT installed, after I rebooted it said it failed to load the BMP, but the BMP background was black and it failed I wonder why, I even disabled Secure Boot, pls tell me how to fix it.

now hackbgrt says the EFI partition is A: (which is completely wrong) do you know how to fix this?
What if the bios mode was "Legacy"?
When i try to save it to the disk all i have is the local disk (c:) not (A:)
RRINN • That's actually the partition for boot files for your PC, and it's meant to stay hidden and untouchable by normal users. If you do it properly according to this video, that said partition will/should automatically be assigned to the letter A

once i Returned back to the original it put errors in my drive
The drive letter A:/ is hidden so Windows cannot access it , HackBGRT can if you are running a UEFI System with the config file in the hidden drive

Well, there must be a resource somewhere in some dll/exe/whatever. You could replace that I guess, but you have to turn off signature check which is really really a bad idea
@@FlyTechVideos in other words, it's not worth it for just a small thing like loading animation when the security risks become so big. Understood.
@@GRsBlueBiHan if you want a new loading circle animation, you should have the followings: Windows 11, Winaero tweaker - go to boot and logon section, choose windows 10x animation and click on the checkbox. Then restart. And done.

Issue with this is when you do an update sometimes it changes back the original splash screen, very annoying .. is there is a way to make it permanent id be more than happy
There isn't as sometimes windows updates the bootmgr so it rewrites it and overwrites the hack

i used HackBGRT awhile ago... its great but you can only use the bitmap format and not .gif or .mp4. i think it also changed my bootloader
Yes, that's correct. The limitation comes from Windows, not HackBGRT.
