    That machine is amazing. I would love to see a show with this machine on people who died of certain diseases ie ALS, severe arthritis,Parkinson’s, Stiff person syndrome etc anything that changes the structural part of the body so we can see what’s happening to the internal side of our body’s as we age.

    This would have been a Godsend for my sister & I, when our father passed suddenly. We were told it was, "Natural Causes", but to know definitively would have answered the questions we still wonder about, to this day.

    These machines are extremely expensive, agree with the one room, two doors methodology.
    Thank you for letting us view through this video, a side of medicine we would not normally see.

      Common misconception in autopsy will find way more information. This can actually help the family by diagnosing and general issues.

    Not only does this technology help those various communities that traditionally don’t accept autopsies, but it also allows bodies, where they can, to be released to the family for burial within or as close as they can to 24 hours after the death. As a multicultural country, as the specialist said, we are world leaders in this area, not only technically and judicially but also supporting so many communities of faith or cultural communities that require burials within 24 hours. Now, they don’t always get that, but the body is often released within or very close to the 24-hour mark. Before this technology, that wasn’t possible and caused tremendous angst in those communities.

    • @sylviaburns2995
      @sylviaburns2995 Месяц назад +2

      Yes you can scan a decomposed body in a bag.The anatomy would have changed somewhat due to the extent of the decomposition making hallmarks of reading the Scan and diagnosis obscure.
