Ok, so look. To me you wasted this on a very difficult classic to remix. The notorious bass line and intergalactic drums are the core of this legendary track. You removed that. If you take out cheese and tomato it's not really pizza anymore. This becomes an entirely different track. It's all constructive okay? Superb work though. Keep doing your thing!
the original bass and drums are amazing, but the purpose the remix is to make it a bit more danceable/mixable in a modern club setting. he kept the spirit of those things, including the best part of the bass line -- the bars right before the "mars" refrain. opolopo is one of the few people who could do this justice and he did. a true pro and a nice guy.
