It has me thinking: At the start there is the 4 picks from above the nut, but after there is a spring sound which rings out. I have no idea how that spring sound happens. Like it’s almost hitting the springs on the back or something. Do you know?
John’s BSSM is the best he ever sounded and one of the all time greatest guitar tones of all time. Your work is outstanding! Question: what pickups kind of pickups would you recommend to get that BSSM tone? A more vintage set or a hotter set like Texas Specials?
@@yiannisfaitakis was never a fan of Texas Specials to be honest they felt too twangy very tele like and it was hard for me to dial a JF tone at least when I had them in my strat 3-4years ago when I didn’t know what I was doing. The Seymour Duncan’s SSL-1s did fine for me in the power of equality video. I have the fender standard pickups from 1999 in my strat now they work for me for pretty much all of John’s run. I’ve been wanting to try a strat set of pickups that claim to sound like 1958 strats from back in the day from Klein pickups since John’sain Strat for beam was a 58. If I do ever get a set I’ll let you know how they do for me 🫡
