My Reaction if Guts defeats Dimitri

- I’m sorry if I haven’t do another reaction video because I had to adjust if there is some audio to be played after I finish recording. But it was only my voice and not the original video. Anyways plz enjoy this video that I made of Guts defeat Dimitri in Death Battle. I saw a website that Guts had 193 votes, and Dimitri only had like 19. And another note from the Death Battle prediction, “In a fierce duel, Guts won without having to use the powerful armor. Before they were able to leave, they encountered another Apostle, Ganishka, but they were victorious and set sail.” Whelp! I guess I’m going to scream into a pillow and give Guts “the finger” because I’m a sore loser who wanted characters that I like to wins so bad 🥲

This would be Guts second Death Battle ever since Season 2 with Guts Vs Nightmare(From Soul Calibur)
What I find funny is the Fire Emblem subreddit is so sure Guts is going to win.
Dimitri does have the capacity to win this, if he were to say land a crit Atrocity with a crest activation, the Berserk Armor would probably get overwhelmed by the sheer force of that strike, I personally have the odds at 40/60 in Guts' favor, but DB is giving Dimitri access to magic, and if they are giving him access to all the 'unique' abilities he can learn, that means he will get both battalion vantage and battalion wrath. The Berserk Armor is the only thing that is keeping this fight from being even. The biggest flaw for Dimitri is definitely his habit of breaking weapons, but if DB are to apply game mechanics to the fight, that would mean that the crest activation only happens when he lands a hit, so that does give him some weapon durability. So as long as he he packing more lances than just Areadbhar, Dimitri has a fair-ish chance of winning. (Because the Berserk Armor is hacks as far as I am knowledgeable.)

It’s sad that Guts will most likely lose. Like the only way that Dimitri loses is if they heavily scrutinize Dimitri and basically only scale him to characters he should massively outscale, while giving Guts the highest scaling possible with no scrutinizing and bordering on outlier territory for him. Plus given Dimitri’s origin game is a rpg, he just has way more potential for a win plus better stats
I feel the opposite, for starters Dimitri's crest is doing him no favors, if he breaks his lances, that's it, and Areadbhar has only 20 uses. Though Dimitri has access to magic, it is one of his weakest traits, at base he has a 20% magic growth, not to mention the Berserk Armor probably comes with magic resistance. There is also the fact that the Dragon Slayer, in Guts hands, has slain the dragon apostle Grunbeld, and the Areadbhar is made of dragon bone. Of course I say all this with extensive knowledge of Dimitri and his abilities, I don't have that level of knowledge when it comes to Guts. But from what I understand, this will not be an easy fight.
@@q-tip9962 It just depends on if Guts can survive his assault until they all actually break. That’s the hard part. And although his magic isn’t the strongest, 20% is better than 0 and I don’t think we can just assume Guts has resistance to magic. And Dragonslayer is impressive, but Dimitri if we allow scaling to other artifacts and characters, can slay monsters much more powerful. I don’t think Guys will go down without a fight, but I see it as an inevitable Dimitri win

For what it's worth, most people in the "VS Debating" community agree that Dimitri has better chances at winning overall, due to massively higher strength and speed, as well as the ability to heal himself. Guts kinda...doesn't.
Well I mean technically guts can heal himself, but then again that doesn't really count as healing more like fixing broken spots in his body

@@issukunaafraudorthegoat To be fair, he doesn't exactly have a choice in the matter. Dimitri is faster and has _immediate_ burst-healing in the form of the Healing Focus skill
@@TwoHeadedMeerkat I haven't played fire emblem before so is dimitri's heals infinite? Or does his magic have a limit. Because I'm pretty sure dimitri can't survive being cut in half even with heals

In the sneak peak Guts is beating Dimitri in the beginning so Guts will probably lose
raven was beating phoenix in beginning too and she still won. same goes with stitch vs rocket and killua vs misaka.
@@AdamBrown-pt9ct well it was fairly even in the beginning for Raven vs Pheonix, in Stitch vs Rocket, Rocket had the advantage in the beginning because he was able to outgun Stitch and disarm him along with destroying his charm, and in Killua vs Misaka, Killua caught the rail gun, tased Misaka and got off the rhythm echo before Misaka could use her brains to get out of the illusion also I’d compare Guys v Dimitri to Vader v Obito, in the sneak peak for Guts v Dimitri, Dimitri lands only one hit that doesn’t affect Guts too much while Guts lands several major blows on Dimitri similar to in Vader v Obito where Vader is dominating Obito for the sneak peak and Obito beat Vader so I feel pretty confident in Dimitri beating Guts
