I have the same exact jeep and color this video is very helpful thank you
I’m glad i was about to help out, no problem at all!
Would this be the culprit for low oil pressure warning on the dash ??
I would have the vehicle scanned to confirm it, but yes it can cause that warning to appear. Low or old oil can cause it aswell.
@@BLKO_Auto had the low oil pressure few hundred miles before an oil change was needed , always keep the oil level topped off, did an oil change and the "low oil pressure" is still reading on the digital dash
@@scalywag in that case I’d say replace it
@@BLKO_Auto thanks alot blko.... Do you recommend OEM jeep dealership only sensor , or can I get it from an auto parts store
@@scalywag no problem at all, i think OEM is always best. The one i purchased was from Carquest
How much is typically charged for this fix ? I have the exact same 2014 2.4L and mines reading the same code.
I’d say labor would be around $100 give or take
Will the check engine light turn off after sensor is replaced?
The jeep dealer that just did a recall on mine wanted $202 to replace that sensor
@@victorcantu6461 it does, but you need to clear the code using an OBD tool or disconnect the battery.
How do you reset the code
Any code scanner should work, just clear the engine code(s)
Disconnecting the battery for a while worked for me since I don't have a scanner tool.
