My 22 and 23 YZ250 2 strokes will last decades longer, it's already proven, comment in 10 years on the cost and reliability of this perticular electric model, cheers
What's not to hate about a company charging $7000 USD for a tiny air cooled 6kw battery pack that's guaranteed to fail, won't give you 80hp once bellow 30% soc, lasts less then 30 minutes when ridden in anger and takes 3+ hours to charge?
I’m sure they will have their issues being a first year in production. After a few years I’m sure they will continue to improve with longer run times and better tech. What will make or break this company is how they stand behind their product or not. Definitely want to ride one.
I was recently thinking about getting one of these but decided to wait 2 to 3 years to see the issues or problems they could have. Also, you have Honda and a couple other companies getting ready to release theirs, so I mine as well wait to see how all this pans out.

@@moretrash4youCall up honda and tell them to make 2 strokes again then a “woods” model. Then people will start riding red again lol Unless you’re talking GasGas in that case; ktm group, it’s all the same shit, let’s be honest 🤣 But in all seriousness, hard to respect a company that doesn’t give the time of day for their prime and what got them there.
I'll get one, one day....But I still think they are about 3-5 years away from making it an all around bike. The battery needs to be better, the part surplus in the U.S. needs to be better, tech support, etc.
We are hoping to test that so we know that exact answer. We have heard of guys getting 2hrs+ on a single charge on the lower HP settings at a faster riders pace but like I said I wanna see it first hand and show y’all.
@@HighSidedFilms yeah, it’s just hard to see an Open A rider, for example, be competitive at a local 2 hour. You can forget about a GNCC. It’s new tech, it’s exciting, but it’s so niche. Come to think of it, if it would at all be possible a hybrid set up would’ve been cool to see especially on the off-road side. No idea about how it would work, but being able to run a longer off-road race with an MX tank without a fuel stop could be the benchmark.
Unless these manufacturers can somehow bring the price to a more reasonable number they will never succeed. There’s been a few attempts at electric dirt bikes but no success due to the outrageous cost. Maybe another 10 years and the price will reduce due to better and more accessible tech.

Mee too, power of sound
Bmarley has pro speed.
Almost positive he raced a National this year. Don't think he qualified but he was out there giving her hell
Dolphinitely he did
He is an AMA pro. He has raced super cross too. Not sure if he has made it into a night show but I think he has.
I believe He is a pro
This bike puts out more power than 95% of riders can even handle, me included 😅
Agreed… that goes for Handling and Suspension too ! 95% of us are ‘not worthy’ due to the Lack of our Skill and Fitness levels👍🏻😎👍🏻
I really hope they’re able to compete in big events to encourage racers to buy them .
