You can also make them out of the tips of those cheap stretchy gloves from dollar tree. Then glue a little Pom Pom on top.
Use a finger or thumb from a cheap pair of gloves with a mini Pom Pom glued on.
Thank you for sharing this video! I just watched your newest one and thought I should come back here and let you know I made several of these little guys following your directions and they were sooo easy! I didn't have the little hats so I snipped the fingertips off those stretchy gloves from the Dollar Tree, rolled the brim, and hot glued a mini pompom on them (also from DT). It ended up half the price of the Amazon hats, so win-win! 😊 On some I added an eye hook to the top of the cork then threaded some colorful baker's twine through the hat and hook to give it a loop for either attaching to a gift or hanging on the tree. It works without the hook, but it's more secure with it so his little hat doesn't get pulled off! I also used the leftover palm of the glove as a hat for some baby food jar gnomes (turned inside out, tied off, turned right side out with a glued on pompom) so nothing went to waste! 🥰💕💕
SO cute! Love these easy gnomes! I am making them as ornaments and cannot wait to see your ideas about what else to do with these little gems.

Haha! The three Patricias have got it going on! 😆 I just commented above that I made these doing exactly that! Fingers for hats with DT pompoms added. They were sooo cute and so easy to make!
@@PattyPaints Too funny! Save the rest of the glove for a bigger gnome or snowman!
@@patriciadolinsek6112 that's exactly what I did! Used the rest of the glove as a hat for baby food jar gnomes. 🤗
@@PattyPaints No more babies in my house, lol. I might be able to use small canning jars though. Cute idea!

@@ruthgraham6131 ??? Why are you directing this to me in an email? She includes hat source in her comments. Ruth, please don't email me. Your trying to direct me to your own RUclips.
These would make great bazaar items
They do, I made a bunch of these for a craft fair a few years ago.

LOL, glad I keep watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and ideas. (My daughter thanks you too since she is the one who gets all of them I make!)😁
Thank you so much. That is so funny, my family get all I make too. LOL
I was wondering what could be used in place of the corks? Thank you, Trish. These are adorable!!!
You can use 1" styrofoam cylinders. I bought some of these amzn.to/3SG7acb
Watched this again and I think I might try using old prescription pill containers.
That definitely will work. Thanks, Patti
Well thank you I had no idea how to cut that birds but now I do and I'll do a lot better job with them now thank you again
Thanks Ruth.
OMG Patty does Gnome are so cute and adorable I can't wait to make some I'm in love 😍😍...Only one question did you know the size of the tiny wood bead that you used for the nose? I wanna buy from Ali the link that you post it . Thank you for your time and sharing you are awesome 😎😎...
Thanks Denise. I used 10 mm beads for their noses. Order now, it takes about 6 weeks to get you order from Ali.

I purchased the hats. Amazon has multi colored ones and Ali express you can choose your colors.
Not long came across you.your so good and clear.and you also don't get expensive about materials you use.unfortunatly for me I can't find the material for the beards
Scotland and Ireland 🇬🇧 are lousy for craft material.and when you do finaly get anything it's expensive.it doesn't give kids chance to do crafts.but thank you I am looking in charity shops for anything with the material you used for the beards as my grandaughter and her friends all want these little ones to put on thier school bags so I won't to make them for everyone lol.i have subscribed as you deserve it thank you Ireland uk
Thank you so much Jeanette. I am sorry that you are having a hard time finding the faux fur at a good price. I would bet that a charity shop would have something with that one it. Best of luck, I hope you find it. Thank you so much for subscribing. Merry Christmas.
@@PattiJGood thank you enjoying your vidios merry Christmas to you 🇬🇧
Спасибушки за подробный МК
I wish I had seen this earlier. I made one similar, but I sewed it all. I didn’t think to use a cork, instead I used a fabric yo-yo.
You can make them for a lot of holidays, just change the hat. I would love to see how you used the fabric yo-yo. Merry Christmas
Where did you get the hats…or did you make? Material? So cute! You’re the best teacher!
Rita, I bought them on Amazon. Here is the link, just scroll throught the pages, they have a lot of different colors. amzn.to/3GFdYkN. If you want all red, they are here amzn.to/3MboPEe
You can also take a comb and part the fur and cut along the part.
Great Idea. I will have to try that. Thanks for sharing.
I would love to make some of these. I have bags of corks, but they are synthetic corks. Would hot glue still work on them or do I need something different? Thank you for sharing your video.
Yes you can! I use synthetic corks all the time with my gnomes. It works great. Thanks, Patti
@@PattiJGood Thank you
They were beautiful like everything you do. Where can I get the caps? And where exactly can I get that kind of hot gun because I see it has a long, fine tip and it looks good to work on that kind of project.
Thanks Neida. I get the hats on Amazon. here is the link amzn.to/3Gfe6H7 The glue gun I use is the surebonder mini amzn.to/3a2kbIu. The reason it has a fine tip is because the protective cover on the nozzle fell off. you can get you glue gun hot and take an overmit and pull it off.
HI Patti love the gnomes couldn’t find the kits of items needed! Can you send the list, please?
