I have to say that number 3 is also my favorite look. I’m a sucker for anything glitzy, and taupe is one of my favorite colors for eyeshadow. I’m so glad Natasha Denona created this gorgeous palette! Your eyes look beautiful with every eye look, Morgan!
Look #3 is gorgeous. It reminds me of mini retro, not in the colours but in feel in that it mixes the purples with a more neutral shimmer and grounds it. So pretty!
I absolutely loved the mix of “swing” and “go-go” blended together, it made my favorite look among these 3. This palette is so stunning and also right up my alley💜💜💜💜💜💜 I’ve also been really into all matte looks, specially with ND eyeshadows, it’s just so sophisticated ❤️❤️❤️
I'm holding out for the greens she's promised us. This isn't really my favourite colour story but if I do need a mauve/purple shade, I'll just grab my Huda Naughty palette. I can't choose between the 3 looks, they're all gorgeous and for different needs. So, I'm not choosing 🤪. ❣❣❣

Hi Morgan! Love your 3 looks! When you mentioned that Nude Mauve was from the Lila palette, I looked at my Lila and noticed that 2 other shades - Helio and Amara - are from that palette as well! So, FYI, for those who have the Lila palette, you'll be getting 3 repeat shades, though am really taken with this color story and still see myself getting this palette... maybe I'll ask for it for my birthday in October, haha!

I would absolutely love that, too. Blue eyeshadow palettes are so hard so to come by. Emerald green eyeshadow looks are my favorite to do and green eyeshadow palettes are easier to come by than blue ones. Which is odd. You’d think it would be the opposite. So if Natasha Denona came out with a true blue eye shadow palette, she’d be cornering an untapped market!
I love the third look the best. I wish the palette would have leaned more in this direction with pink and green. Maybe the next palette will tie it all together.

In fact you can even recreate Charlotte Tilbury's Face palettes from the Retro I just discovered! See my 3rd paragraph below for details ~ yes, I have a 3rd paragraph, don't come for me! Lol! 😂🤦♀️ My palette arrived Saturday! Woop! Woop! I purchased it through the Sephora Early App Access and it shipped the VERY SAME DAY! Unheard of in Canada! And then it delivered the very next day, another surprise! I was so happy! 💃🏽 I usually don't go for monochromatic palettes but I love burgundy's, wines, plums ~ warning this is going to be a run on sentence lol! 🤦♀️ I used to wear my favorite burgundy/wine one-and-done shadow by Shiseido in the 90's all day err day until it got discontinued, that was a very sad day for me indeed and proves my point, lol! ~ and I'm always here for Natasha Denona EVEN though I DO NOT feel that her formula's for her shimmers/metallics/chroma-crystals in these midi's are her original standout formulas (though I do love her mattes whether creamy mattes or cream to powder they are now very consistently amazing no matter what size palette she puts them in). I find them somewhat crumbly and thin and watered down compared to her OG formula that you get in her first two large palettes (Purple-Blue & Green-Brown) and in her big 5 pan palettes taken from those palettes and in the Gold, Lila, Sunset palettes. In those palettes her metallics are RICH and have BODY. Her Chroma-crystals in those palettes are also rich and shimmery/glittery stupendous, chef's kiss! 😘 Not like these thin formula's now. I feel like she watered down/dumbed down the formulas for these in her midi's. (When I didn't have those OG palettes I literally used to go into Sephora sometimes just to swatch Natasha's Green-Brown and Purple-Blue palettes, the Gold, the Sunset palettes and the original Star palette for those molten metallics and those molten Chroma-Crystals. She got me everytime! Lol! I'm a magpie, I can't help myself! ✨🤩😂). To be honest, if I was introduced to Natasha by her midi's I'd wonder what all the fuss was about. Thank goodness I was introduced to Natasha by way of her Purple-Blue and Green-Brown palettes, Sunset, original Star, the big 5 pans, etc. Nonetheless, lol!, I do LOVE my Natasha and I got this palette and at first I was not that excited when I opened it up BUT when I began swatching and mixing I started to really appreciate the shades. I love that you can get lovely berry looks from the left of the palette AND more warmer toned looks from the right, surprisingly I realized you can LITERALLY get Charlotte Tilbury looks from the right of the palette with those soft almost neutral coral/terracotta/mauve shades. I can get an eye look that looks just like Charlotte Tilbury's Exclusive Nordstrom Sunset Seascape Face Palette from the shades on the right and add Glitz (a warm pink) on the lid and get the exact same look as if I used that CT's Face palette where I always use the blush in my eye crease. Amazing! So I'm impressed! And then you can get those cool looks too from this palette. So, in fact it's quite versatile minus the watered down shimmers. Lol! 💜💖
Hey there! I was wondering if you could compare the Dior Early Bird shades to this Natasha Denona palette? I know the mustard shade doesn’t apply but I didn’t know if in your opinion the rest of the Dior shades looked similar to the Retro. I’ve been wanting to pick up the Early Bird but if they are comparable I won’t since I already bought the Retro🙂
After seeing the looks I see that this is a very monochromatic palette, much like Glam and Bronze, which means it feels like using a covert 9 pan palette, despite the real amount of shades. And then it's kind of too soft and pinky for me 🤔 Maybe this one is just not for me. I'll wait for the Green Retro palette Natasha promised. I hope she releases it in January/spring.
Sorry this pallet looks kinda boring. Mattes look great. Shimmers, maybe two or three nice ones, otherwise boring. I already have Huda Naughty and New Nudes which have interesting shimmers. Looking forward to getting Huetopian when it goes on sale, otherwise, I have plenty, thanks. I never thought I would say this but it seems Natashas best pallets are behind her.
