When I was drawing the sprocket, I found that when drawing the gear teeth, the second arc could not be fixed at the intersection of the circle and the straight line.
if want to create motion study in solidworks then there is no other faster way to create hinge joints. If just animation is needed, then some other software like Blender/Maya can be used. In these softwares, rigging is used to create the animation. no need to create hinge joints. Any length of chain can be rigged & animated.
What mate did apply for sprocket and chain???

try changing the distance values little bit what is being done between 16:20 - 16:35
Then, make the tangent between both the arcs.
idk why, i happen to have a msising link after i did the chain component
