what if the project version is old for example laravel 7 or 6, It's the same proccess or not? , because Im getting errors with old versions.

Please tell me, I’m downloading my own project, which was created earlier on a work PC. I download it to my home PC. I don't have this project connected to the database yet. I'm just installing composer install, and then I run the PHP server with php artisan serve. I'm getting a 500 SERVER ERROR. Why is that?
