You HAVE to pay close attention to the lyrics in PT 1. The message is a little hidden with the loud intense production, but PERSONALLY I think pt 1 is better than pt 2.

I feel like in True Love is Violent, she realises that SHE was the abuser in the relationship and reflects on how it made her lover feel and how the realisation of it kind of overwhelmed her
I feel like she doesn't mean phisically or mentally violent, but it's like when you end a relationship with someone you really love it feels like a truck ran over you. It's the violent aftermath of true love i think.

Ash, btw my love, the reason Alexandra (Allie) gained popularity two years ago in 2015 was thanks to Troye! Allie produced a lot of songs on Blue Neighborhood and co-wrote some of the songs! So when her album came out, Troye tweeted saying: "Guys, go check my friend's new album!" So there's that! :D :) THIS REACTION IS VERY SIMILAR TO MINE!!!
her very first song she released which was Catch, was tweeted by Katy Perry so there was that too, and Tyler Oakley keeps plugging her around the time she released her first EP and maybe that's how Troye was introduced to her (maybe)

About "GOOD" :
Allie went in depth about this song in an interview with The Seventh Hex:
This song came together rather quickly in one session with producer, Billboard. I had had the melody for the chorus for a while. I had a strong visual in my head as I wrote the lyrics: from the POV of someone sitting in the back of a cab, who has self-Xiled themselves from their life and everyone who they have ever loved. The song is about the small flicker of hope, the desire to be ‘Good’.

But her singing voice and delivery is so sweet and delicate you think it’s authentic!! She takes that darkness within ourselves we’re afraid to talk about and gives it a platform for us to connect with and I cry
