She’s an amazing vocalist, but this an example that ONLY Jason Robert Brown can play Jason Robert Brown’s pieces. I couldn’t even get into the rhythm of the song

I was present at the moment when a young American man played this piece and a young American woman sang it; the amateur pianist's performance was outstanding, way better than what appears in this video and the amateur singer's performance was way close to the Andrea Burns one. I was mesmerized by how close to the original was that performance.
