Hi Chris. I just wanted to say thanks for being theologically rich. It's the kind of Christian music/ worship music I've longed and prayed for. It's so rare these days. God bless.

Amen! Love the guitar and the simplicity of this version. Comfort one another with the comfort you have received from Christ 🙏

I get the sentiment of this song, but I think we need to realize that Christ does have a body. He is still fully God and fully man living for eternity in his resurrected body. Let’s be biblically accurate with our poetry brothers.
    1 Corinthians 15:4-6; Revelation 21:3-4
That being said, I absolutely love Chris Renzema’s music and I am so thankful for his ministry. It was great to see him in concert last months. Keep up the solid music writing brother.

i agree, i think hes trying to make it a anology to say that Jesus Christs body is in heaven so we should do the work He calls us to do or something like that

It's based on a famous prayer attributed to St. Teresa of Avila.

I have a feeling you've been through some shit. I crave honest praise songs. There's a few doing it well. But not many since Rick Elias and Rich Mullins have moved me. John Mark Mcmillan moves me.
    Now you!
