Changeable skins is a great idea - nylon for finger playing, silicone for drumsticks or hand drummers who have calouses and hit hard🤣. Some of those CV outs could be used with a Spectravox, or Moogerfooger pedals, or a semimodular synth... it doesn't have to be for Eurorack. Good luck, and I hope this mk2 hits the sweet spot and is successful

24! CV/gate outputs. Amazing. This seems to be one of the best expressive controllers right now because of its setup flexibility, durability, and with a visual appeal that actually allows a concert audience to see what you're doing on stage. Music performance isn't just about the sound, after all.

Fantastic and creative idea!
For a real impressive live performance i would like a surface about 4 times as big! That would be impractical to drag with you, but how about the possibility to use 4 individual Erae2's interconnected to obtain a large surface?

This has been on my list for ages, now there's a 2nd revision that's even nicer. While I like keys, as a drummer I seem to click with pads and things way more, and with how customizable this thing is; it'd be a blast as a central controller for a bunch of semi modular gear I have. While I think I'd still have a sequencer (oxi one / hapax / something like that) as a play surface that I can tap on? Love this.

I'm a fan of the V1 interface with no HW interfering with my playing and my flow. Also, I don't really need CV out and can do all that through various midi eurorack gizmos I and many of us already have. A better approach would have been an optional MIDI breakout such as the OXI Pipe. I don't see myself upgrading.
