I especially like how you really make the song your own, as you add and alter the song while not necessarily hindering nor lessening the spirit of the song, but rather letting it breath new life as a different interpretation that isn't simply just the same leitmotifs and chords with different instruments. Really like the (I assume Miles' work) synth combining with the (InGodWeRock's) rock. Great job as always, man.

I’m going to admit it - I’ve never listened to the Zebrahead version in its entirely because, as a kid, I didn’t like the profanity in it and I just liked Crush 40 and assumed their version would be superior by default. But now that I’m able to listen to it freely (thanks, btw), wow… those are some pretty great lyrics, and you did a great job with the remix.
Thanks! I had a similar experience to yours. I generally avoid music with profanity. I never listened to the Zebrahead version because of the profanity. But this was a fun opportunity to change that.
I listened to the original zebrahead version quite a bit when I was years younger, but I honestly had no idea there was a curse word in there until just recently XD I always heard that line as "going this fast" Coming back to it tho it's just about the least crass usage of profanity (and just one use) you could have in a song so I can overlook it

Zebrahead is a super underrated band, I may have been introduced to them through sonic 06, but they've got their own style of Punk Rock that's never gotten old. No Tomorrow is really great, highly recommend that song as well as Keep it to Myself
God, Zebrahead is so fire! I kinda miss the "kicking ass fast" line, but I understand why it was removed. I wish Zebrahead could come back and do another song for Sonic. Y'know, give them a chance to be associated with a *good* Sonic game.
The Zebrahead version is without a doubt the best version of the song that just embodies sonic, its face paced tempo and has the attitude to go along with it. The crush 40 version i think isn't that great, too slow but powerful. though i could never get why they ended that track on a soft piano tune after all that.
