  • I made a rookie mistake with this Beef Brisket, I didn’t trim the fat. However it still ended up juicy and tasty and melts in your mouth with every bite. I’d still call this recipe a winner regardless and will certainly learn from my mistake.
The Pit Boss Prime Beef Rub is a frequent player in my arsenal of spices and certainly helps bring a great level of flavour to the brisket this time around.
Remember Briskets are always a crowd pleaser and suite small gatherings or large events! The hardest part is sharing the delicious food!
    Hope you enjoy
    Cheers

Just smoked an 11 lb brisket on a pellet grill. I didn't trim it either, and it came out perfectly. I'm a happy man 😂

What are you cooking next to it?

Good eye! I’m catering a wedding at the end of August and that just off to the side is a test cook of a beef roast for that venue. Trying to perfect a recipe so everyone will love it!

I don't know that not trimming the fat is a mistake. I see southern BBQ brisket that has fat on it at least that much alot.

I have to admit the fat seemed to help keep the meat juicy. Also it slices off very easily once cooked.

@@AndysSmokeShack-LetsGetSmoking You can always eat around the fat if you don't like it. I know i am not fond of big chunks of fat but i understand the necessity in the cooking process.
