Rookie Mistake, I didn’t trim the fat, but this Brisket still tastes delicious!

    Just smoked an 11 lb brisket on a pellet grill. I didn't trim it either, and it came out perfectly. I'm a happy man 😂

      Good eye! I’m catering a wedding at the end of August and that just off to the side is a test cook of a beef roast for that venue. Trying to perfect a recipe so everyone will love it!

    I don't know that not trimming the fat is a mistake. I see southern BBQ brisket that has fat on it at least that much alot.

      I have to admit the fat seemed to help keep the meat juicy. Also it slices off very easily once cooked.

      @@AndysSmokeShack-LetsGetSmoking You can always eat around the fat if you don't like it. I know i am not fond of big chunks of fat but i understand the necessity in the cooking process.
