Taiwan 🇹🇼 Day 1: Shifen, Jiufen, Ximending

Welcome to our official Day 1 of the DIY trip in Taiwan!
Our itinerary for this day:
First stop: Jiufen
Second stop: Shifen / Pingxi Sky Lanterns
Last stop: Ximending
So we intentionally went for Jiufen first since its much further and slowly made our way down and then back to the city. The famous Shifen Waterfalls was also just near the lanterns about a 10-15 minute walk but we weren't able to go there since the hub was tired with all the walking.
When we got to Ximending, first order of business was to try the famous Xing Fu Tang milktea, which I would really recommend. Before you take a sip, make sure you mix it since all the bobas are at the bottom of the cup.
