Having Jesus in this song means the needing of Him every single day, it's truth that Jesus dwel in ours hearts, but we seek more of His person, more of his presence, more of His character in us; we where crated with this natural void that need be filling daily and only Jesus Himself can do it.

Fernando Ortega, the original writer, does it much more reflective and is just piano and vocals.

Beautiful rendition, but this song has more punch if you replace the words "give me Jesus" with "I have Jesus". NOW you're singing reality!
We have the comforter, the Holy Spirit, and that alone is all we need... But Jesus will be back :) In all His amazing, powerful, wonderful, beautiful glory. And at that moment, all of our pain, all of our suffering, will all make sense. At that moment, we will be able to fully understand the weight of our own wickedness, and the pure depth and sacrifice of His great love for us... and at that moment we will bow down and worship our victorious King. The spotless lamb. The Lord of lords. THEN we will truly "have" Jesus..... and I can't wait for that day. Come Lord Jesus, come.
