Excellent Paul Sensei. I was in Okinawa training with Miyazato Sensei in June and july of that same year, 1997. How lucky we were to be corrected by the hands of this wonderful, modest and great teacher of Okinawa Karate-Doh Goju Ryu......thanxs for sharing!
This is The Master, the one who was nearest to Miyagi Sensei the most. This is a couple of years before the great man died. Thanks for posting the memories Sensei Paul.
Dear Enfield sensei, Thank you so much for posting this footage of Miyazato sensei. For those of us who never had the chance to meet him, videos such as these are so important. Absolutely wonderful to see Miyazato sensei performing seipai kata.
Great video and excellent quality. It's great to see Miyazato sensei demonstrating kata - highlights the fact that traditional training can be for life
@garrylever06 I am glad you found it informative. Although Miyazato Sensei is obviously older here you can really see the points of focus as he performs the kata; this is the kata from Miyagi Chojun Sensei!

Very nice indeed. Thank you so much for sharing. Miyazato was definitely the true heir to Miyagi's Goju.
Nice vid thanks for posting... 97 was the year I started my Goju journey. I thought the skinny guy looked familiar. Hi Paul Sensei :)
Haha.
Wonderful footage. Thanks for sharing.
Happy to see this video, very motivational.

This is the world famous Jundokan dojo in Naha, Okinawa. For those of you who know Naha it is a stone's throw away from Kokusai dori.
