Thanks! remember every singer is most critical of their own voice and the more you sing the better you get because it strengthens the muscles in your neck and stomach that keep your notes in tune and full sounding.
Wish I found this video last week.. I figured this out myself last night haha and unlocked a whole new level of editing 🤣. Awesome video man! Gonna try some of the things you showed. Subscribed!
I appreciate this, really want to learn more on vocal editing for garageband, if you have anymore videos that you think may help me please let me know, but thank you!
Thanks really helpful! Started watching another tutorial that was a bit too advanced for me but this just built on the small knowledge I had and was so easy to follow!! Thank you!
Step number 1, have a quality microphone. Not one you bought off amazon for 30 bucks🤭 Thanks for this video tho, I've been using garageband for weeks and I didn't know about this stuff! P.s. anyone else wanna hear his whole song
Hi, I really like the way you have explained the workings of garage band. I am coming at it purely from the point of view of a narrator for audiobooks. Do you have a video just for this and /or what specific tips could you offer me to enhance and produce a very professional sounding audiobook narrator's voice? Thanks so much, Michael
@@StudioHacks oh ok thanks for the clarification. I thought I had heard some other youtubers mention either paid versions or paid plugins but this is good to know! Thank you!
I try so hard to make my recordings good but yep I still need to learn so many things ,this video it's so great , still have a problem when I share my song in desktop the sound it's not the same sound lower ,does anyone have the same problem?some tips or an answer from Studio Hacks please xx thanks
it depends on if you final mixed the track. you should go to automation and then take the master track to whatever db high or low sound you want. :) hope that makes sense. it also took me a year before I knew automation lol.
Have you watched this video? it has all the information required to do what you have asked. Also get a good large diaphragm condensor mic, a reasonable audio interface and an acoustically treated room if you want really good results. Most can be done on a small budget.
Cool clip but I despise AT and will never use it it doesn't give me the satisfaction of working hard and having great backing vocals courtesy of myself lol! We already have people wo cant play a single chord wiring songs or think they are!
hello does anyone know how to fix the time speed because I have a song that im trying to remix but every time I put in garage band the song goes super fast the song is like 3 minutes and its compress it into like 1 minute max any body can please help me
Only change one track, then go to the Track tab in the top left and click Create Track With Duplicate Settings. U will get the same pre sets and everything for all tracks you do this for.
Wish my raw vocals sounded this good. Great job!
Thanks! remember every singer is most critical of their own voice and the more you sing the better you get because it strengthens the muscles in your neck and stomach that keep your notes in tune and full sounding.
@@StudioHacks yes I need to sing more I know ( we all know that) but it is a long lonely road ...
Right lmao !!!
When I heard your raw vocals, I was like “omg that was raw???”
And then I listened to mine and.... OHhh. That was different. HAHAHA
Great video. Very to the point and easy to follow. Most tutorials spend a decade telling me what they’re going to do rather than doing it.
Your raw vocals are beautiful.
thank you
Forget all the other tutorials this guy is straight to the point ❤
You’re doing the Lord’s work man. ❤️
Good vid...but thanks for getting “Summer Dreaming” stuck in my head all day....lol
lol can't help you with that one 🤣
@@StudioHacks how can i search/buy this song?

trying to find out how to use mvmeter2 with chopped vocals....on one track my chop vocal levels are different......
i want this song. Where can I download it?
How much of what you demonstrated (if any) is available with the free version of garage band?
all of it, there is only one version of GarageBand - it's always been free.

Does anybody know how to locate female vocals effects in GB 10.4.5? Can't find it WTF
What mic he used? cuz my mic is a $100 usb condenser microphone. Do I need a audio interface and get a better mic or what?
I have an SSL 2 audio interface and an Aston Origin mic. Medium to high level home studio gear. What model USB mic do you have?
Can u please tell me how do you make your voice more clear on GarageBand?
Have you watched this video? it has all the information required to do what you have asked. Also get a good large diaphragm condensor mic, a reasonable audio interface and an acoustically treated room if you want really good results. Most can be done on a small budget.
How do I get the plug in that you used towards end of the video?
yeah im stuck on that too.

What if I want to redo a voice sound from my library? I cannot seem to convert back to my raw take on my vocals
I cannot do the auto tune plug in?
yeah me too
who is that on the song?
Can u use the grallion 2 plug in with waves?
Can please help me how to arrange the beats
Does this work on rap vocals?
Not sure if my vocals are bad, or if I just hate my own voice 😂
How do you put a beat on garage band so you can rap ?
Create a new track, select Audio, drag in a .mp3 or .wav file from your finder or desktop into Garageband. Done
Dumbo bucko
Your voice was 🔥 before the editing.
hello does anyone know how to fix the time speed because I have a song that im trying to remix but every time I put in garage band the song goes super fast the song is like 3 minutes and its compress it into like 1 minute max any body can please help me
have u updated your garage band? I had the same problem before
I’m Willing to spend a little bit of money just to become the next
making this vocals better? dude i would never edit my vocals again if i would have that voice..
When I change one track, does it apply to all or will I have to do all these changes to another track
Only change one track, then go to the Track tab in the top left and click Create Track With Duplicate Settings. U will get the same pre sets and everything for all tracks you do this for.
@@bradbarber9099 appreciate it
Sincerely Chris Yup man np.
you should make your voice sound worse, just for the purpose of the vid. Your raw vocals already sound amazing!
Ugh! I'm still utterly confused.
This video made me realize how tone deaf I am
why don't Americans ever sing in with a British accent is what im wondering. Im going to do it and with your knowledge its going to sound dope af!
Because Americans only know like 2/3 British accents
@@soonontop7257 and what brits know every single American accent? There are more then 3
