Thanks alot Jerry!! I usually only put in 1 ad in the middle of the video, YT puts all the rest in where they want plus in the beginning and the end!! Even when I delete the YT ads when I upload they always seem to appear!!☺
@@805ROADKING Yes - I've had the same experience. I've also noticed it doesn't make much of a difference when putting un-skippable adds at the beginning. Experimented w/ that - didn't make a difference. I had to go through all my videos and change them to 1 ad during 'cause youtube peppered them with adds and I think my view went down a bit. They had like 5-6 adds on a ten minute video. Great work on the truck btw - you are quite the craftsman - like to listen to you too.
When you first got this truck it looked fairly solid. I'm glad your saving the old girl. I'm sure she will last another 50 years or so after you have finished with her.
You’re doing a very thorough job, RK. I liked your method of using the body saw from the bottom, to see where you’re cutting. I don’t know why I’ve never thought of that! 👍
Got to hand it to you RK, you have done a great job for just working out of you garage. It's a lot easier in a sheet metal fab shop. I am enjoying this series of videos, My dad used to have a similar 65 Ford pickup with a 390 and 3 on the tree. It was a narrow / short bed. Always a pleasure to drive.
I keep looking at that HUGE boat anchor 4 speed. A Borg T5 would be a great upgrade for this rig, unless you are sticking to a "restoration". Great work and progress!
It is always hard to deal most Previous Owner repairs but you are doing a fabulous job. Great ideas for dealing with non factory far east repair panels. They are both the bain and savior of the old vehicle industry. They are not very good but most are way better than nothing.🤷♂️😉
I remember when I was at university having a summer job at a plant removing mill scale from steel plate and steel tube. The tube was a horrible job, mild acid and scrubbing with wire brushes. The plate was easy enough in comparison, dip in strong acid, wash it off then dip in oil. Just needed to remember that if a plate starts to fall, don't try to stop it; one guy forgot when working with 1/4inch plate. The falling plate created an air cushion which brought it down slowly at the end but the weight of the plate trapped the ends of his fingers; he was lucky that he didn't lose them.
Thanks Lloyd!! I think if they made those mounts ready to go it would have been to cost prohibitive!! I know if they were much more than $100 I probably would have made them myself!!☺
I’m enjoying this series. You’re good at what you do! Are you going to get yourself a pair or two of those Malco Eagle Grip pliers that everyone is talking about now?
Thanks PJ!! Nah they're nice but a little too pricey for me!! I just ordered a set of 4 Tekton Locking Pliers for the same price as 1 Eagle, they're made in Taiwan but they are just as good!!☺
Keep the old Ford videos coming. I enjoy watching them
Thanks Mike!! Looks like there are plenty more to come!!☺
OK Part 55 The 4 cylinder Briggs was a part 24. WOW. Keep it coming RK. Love it. Thanks for lending me all the humour over the years.
Thanks Buddy!! I'm glad I was able to play a small in your YT success!!☺
Looking really good, I'm really enjoying this truck series. I still crack up every time you bring out the plastic pointer - gets me every time.
Thanks alot Chris!! I love them lil' pointers!! I try not to use them too much or they'll lose their affect!!☺
Looking good 👍
Thanks alot Joe!!☺
That floor is going to be beautiful. Nice job on the video and keeping the adds down. I really enjoyed watching :)

This thing is going to be solid as a rock by the time you're done.
Yeah Buddy!! I replaced alotta rotted metal in the roof and hood already that I didn't video!! There shouldn't be any rot at all when I'm done!!☺
Coming along nicely Roadking.
Hoping you'll take us all along for a ride when this beauty eventually is restored back to its original weight!
Thanks alot Olly!! Hopefully it won't be too long before we can take you for a ride!!☺

There is a lot of work that has to be done to have a new floor But worth the time to have it solid and it will last another 50 plus years
Yeah Buddy!! Thankfully I'm enjoying it and it's more fun than work!!☺
Shaping up super nice King ! Lots of work man .. ENJOYED
Thanks alot Buddy!!☺
Doing a good job. it will be better than new when you get done fixing it!

...lookin' good, comin' along nicely, stay safe...
Thanks alot Bob!!☺

Thanks alot Matt!! Yeah at least with an aftermarket panel you have something to start with!!☺

Good story Chris!! I'm glad I don't deal with enough big stuff to have to deal with the weight or the acid!!☺
Putting in some long hours, RK. It's looking good.
Thanks Bill!! Yeah I'd like to get it done soon!! My Shoulder Surgery put me about a year and a half behind schedule!!☺
great work buddy :)
Thanks alot Mike!!☺
I'm enjoying this ! What a good solid usable truck it is going to be !
I like the two Sharpie divider trick!
Thanks Buddy!! It's funny how some of the goofiest ideas work out for ya!!☺
looking great!!
Thanks alot Mark!!☺
Looking good RoadKing.
Ford should build them so tuff !
First great Ford journey!
Thanks Mel!!☺
Need to get some Cleco's to hold the pan in place while you weld it in. Cleco's - good stuff!!
Clecos are nice in the right situation but they wouldn't have pulled that pan down to the support like the screws did!!☺
That saw always gets me giggling, it sounds like a swarm of bees that have been eating beans... :P
That is surprising you have to modify both panels that much. You would think they would be ready to go. Luckily you're on the job. Cheers Buddy
Thanks Lloyd!! I think if they made those mounts ready to go it would have been to cost prohibitive!! I know if they were much more than $100 I probably would have made them myself!!☺
Trucks turnin out great. I especially like the beefy crush tubes. Btw what camera do you use. I'm trying to find a good one for my youtube videos.
Evening mate, getting there bit by bit :o)
Evenin' Mate!! One bite at a time!!☺
