These two are just not good boxer's and just punch and hope for the best. Ruiz is just famous for being lucky once that's all he couldn't even defend the titles once.
@@jaydub2546 And he blew it, never trained for re match just ate for the training camp. Drove around in flashy cars and never remained humble so how is he great.
Agree if Ruiz hadn’t of gone on a knee a couple of times you’d say a real 50-50 either way but Ruiz did more and them hands are getting faster now the weights coming off 🥊
Andy is a tactician. He keeps his arms in, his hands close to body. Every punch never seems telegraphed because there is generally always a combination that one never knows will be thrown but always there. He is an artist. Few have ever fought like this man. His outside punches always have an arc that keeps them tight with power through the shoulders. If he hits you with a flurry, don't expect that to be the last of it because in less time then a blink of an eye, he'll do all over again. Love watching this young man box, with a real purpose. Thanks Andy, you are a true professional in this sport.
Solid pro and love watching him fight but he takes a lot of damage every fight for being a “tactician”. He’s on the floor at least once in a lot of his recent fights
He lost a bit of poke to his punches since slimming down though his regular combinations he throws leave him open a lot too to single big punches. He is made for wilder and I couldn't see him lasting 12 rounds without taking at least a few big single shot bombs. and it wont be like Arreola or AJ catching him
Now, this is a boxing match! Fundamentals are spot on, great conditioning, no running and they're definitely there to take each other's heads off. Respect for both fighters!
So terribly wrong. This is the kind of boxing match that if you have 10 of them, you are definitely looking at longterm brain injuries. Both fighters taking way too many punches.
Your comment will be understood only by those who understand mexican style boxing. Both were born from mexicans parents. Mexicans like to fight like that.
Kol, yur right. Don't know why others did not pick that up. Andy did some serious muscle and nerve damage with that thunder right hand to behind his left shoulder I feel. Blokes Arm dropped straight down and he was trying to shake movement back into it. He never threw hard lefts after that, Well picked out. 👍👍
@@markjones5757 it wasn't a regular thing, but there were old school matches where you went until someone got totally knocked out. Its on record a few matches went over 100 rounds.
Fantastic match! Both men looked sharp, quick and powerful. The punches they took and threw would destroy most people. Arreola looked very impressive. Ruiz looked great as expected. Fantastic display of heavyweight power and speed.
Arreola looked very impressive true but only for the first half of the fight, unfortunately when he hurt his arm he appeared to land practically nothing of signficance. A pity though. Ruiz a clear winner in the end.
@Paul Torrevieja Property Management I think a Ruiz/Wilder fight would be one the best match ups in decades. Both men are in their prime. The Fury/Wilder trilogy made Wilder a better boxer. He was tested in ways and that made him dig deep, work harder and innovate new skills. Ruiz shocked the world when a pudgy looking "David" took out an unbeaten "Goliath". True boxing fans had heard about and seen Ruiz's ability but the world didn't know his abilities. Ruiz has the quick hands of a gunslinger and magician with the power of howitzer cannon. In his 2nd match with AJ he came in heavier and clearly lost that edge of the hungry contender. Going from little known to a world wide celebrity will affect anyone. After his decision loss to AJ I think it snapped him back to reality. Ruiz got a taste of of how the emperor lives and he likes that life. In his last 2 fights Ruiz has been leaner and has taken on dangerous opponents. He is EARNING another shot through hard work and top ranked opponents. A Wilder/Ruiz will be a huge fight that will go down in boxing history. It's the kind of fight that fans deserve and boxing needs.

Crazy how Andy kept sneaking that left hook in behind the 1 2 combo. Perfect example of throw 3 to land 1. He was putting the first two out there just to blind Chris so he couldn’t see that left hook coming. Beautiful boxing. 😭👍🏾
As somebody who has suffered from repeated left shoulder injuries I really felt for Chris throughout the fight. It became clear pretty quick that it was a shoulder injury when I watched live.
He has decent feet for how round he is, and amazing hand speed. He trained with a lot of lower weight classes because in Mexico there arent a lot of heavyweights, I imagine that might have something to do with his speed and multi punch combinations.
