- REAL TRUTH of UPI charges || Will UPI Transaction be Charged in Future?
There has been a lot of confusion wrt charges on UPI transactions. Though some of this confusion has been cleared, there are still some unanswered questions left - Will UPI be Free Forever for Customers? Why will Merchants agree to bear such charges? Or why will the PPI companies bear the interchange fees of 1.10%?
In this video we will try to answer some of these questions and hopefully clear the air on what the future looks like for charges on UPI transactions.

I think it will be charged after 2-3 years, probably at 0.1% of transactional value capped at lets say 10 Rs.
Based on the volume of daily transactions, this amount will not be a huge hit on majority of the middle class but huge enough based on the volume.
And it will be a good source of revenue for everybody involved in the transactions lifecycle.

Please talk about UPI Lite which will reduce servers load on banks and a lot more benefits
But upi transaction thik hai but upi ka use kar ke credit card se payment ka jo new options deya hai banks ne ya free hai rahe gha?? Its big question in mind??
I think UPI transaction will be completely free atleast till 2024 election. Uske baad ka pata nahi.

Government should introduce/impose a type of bearable cess chargeable to everyone whether directly or indirectly, payable to NPCIL/UPI for maintenance of servers and devices.
Merchant will increase the price of the product like they increase the price during receiving payment through credit card. Last me consumer ko hi jhelna pdega sb

Mere according to UPI mein citizens ko koi charges nhi lagne chahiye kyuki UPI per agar transaction charge lagta to itna revolutionary payment system nahi banta aur jaisa ki aapane kaha tax se UPI ke infrastructure to fund kar hi rahe hai aur kuch 5-7 saalo se government ne fuel tax, Capital gain tax aur recently indexation hata kar tax ka burden logo par badhaya hi hai.

Customer ko charge lage to main upi use nehi karne wala. Only cash then...
So basically if i pay 50rs to someone by upi , he does to someone n same thing repeats lets say 50 more transactions, so at the that 50 rs go back to bank whereas in cash after 50 such transactions that 50rs still has a value with last person, ok so that's y they want people to go cashless, so people will not have any control
Paytm se mai bill pay karne jata hoon to whether i pay it from bank or wallet, charge to hamesha hi lagta hai, aur wo hi 200-300 amount pe🤔

Whenever I do recharge through UPI and pay from my bank it always charges Rs 1 or 1.5rs why so?
Mostly phonepe does that. Don't use phonepe.

@@rohan7336 no dude! I tried there is no platform fees. 118₹ for 12GB pack mjhe 118₹ ka hi padd raha! Only PhonePe takes platform fees. No other UPI app takes fees! No other se I mean, Gpay, Amazon Pay, Paytm, Cred Pay.
